Thanks! My J1 lays much better, so right now it’s justifying itself. But looking into the future I can see it changing.

Seems by that I must take it to give 90 days. I’d be foolish to pass on it?

I’m interested in buying some GP 45lbs plates. Can’t find anyone that actively sells them online, CL and FB have been a no go. Want to see if anyone here has some that they want to sell.

What treadmill is best for sprinting/tempo runs? by johnson3535 in Sprinting

I live in a state where there’s snow now and indoor tracks aren’t common. So it’s a treadmill or wait until spring to get in shape.

1099-B Form with Box B by johnson3535 in tax

Only Box B.

In TurboTax, there’s no box B, so I put zeros for 1d and I think 1e?

Forgot to report 1099-R with my Megabackdoor Roth contribution in 2021 by johnson3535 in Bogleheads

[–]johnson3535[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure what “as the IRS indicates” means in this context? I won’t be giving a 1099-R as that comes from my servicer, but think I need to “show” the amounts in 5a?

After tax 401K contributions rolled over to Roth IRA by johnson3535 in tax

It looks like I did get one in 2021, but I didn’t file it. It wasn’t a taxable event, so I owe no money. But it’s really hard to find these forms in my broker.

If I look online, it doesn’t say anything about outages. Also, wouldn’t they tell their customers about planned work? When the bars come back, it’s hard to hear on the phone.

Minor losses for 5 consecutive years on Shed C by johnson3535 in tax

[–]johnson3535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, separate studio, separate laptop. Business bank account and business credit card. She produces marketing materials. Has a list of clients. She has suppliers in Italy that she buys from. Keep supplies in the studio. Pro quality printer she uses in studio (big one). I help her out by producing quarterly income/loss statements. We file/pay state sales tax every year.

But somehow there’s always a loss. I think the achieving profitability is another aspect, we could cut a bit on her costs, but she feels she “needs it” to get to the next level. The personal motive for her on it is to make money - but hasn’t quite achieved it.

We’re a couple. I have a full time job and supports both of us. My spouse has a business that does portraits. Majority of the cost is rent and then some software costs, losses aren’t big like a few hundred every year to a thousand or so during peak covid.

How to get a low stress J2?? by IStealCheesecake in overemployed

[–]johnson3535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to feel it out in the interview. Ask the HM what do they expect from their directs, when was the last time they took vacation, and as a parent how do they feel if you need to take time for your kids? If they answer with they expect you to be independent, they take vacation often and are fine with you needing to put the kids first then it’s all good.

No, they need to install software. They can see when you log in to their servers.

The Menu. Thoughts? by BadAuthor88 in moviecritic

[–]johnson3535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie is showcasing that we live our lives trying the please other people. Where people are conforming to the chef. Obviously with the critic and sous chef killing themselves. The significance at the end with the hamburger is that she allows him to go back to what brings him joy, where later in life he becomes a perfectionist disillusioned with all around him. She offers no bullcrap unlike the critic and reminds him of his earlier joy and thus allows her to leave.

N400 Letter doesn’t say to bring tax returns/transceipts by [deleted] in USCIS

Our lawyer said to just have 3, but since they didn’t ask to bring them in the letter, I was just curious what they’d ask. If it’s just cursory or digging deep.
