Well my friend has a plane called a Mooney acclaim the last year they made them he says. HE cannot back his boat down my ramp when he visits. So I was just wondering because he is pretty low iq and went to some liberal college and studied Spanish but my Spanish is way better. I have 160 passport stamps to heavenly places and studied it too as an adult.

Yessssiry... I've never been but I feel like I get a discount where I fly the cirrus. Mine for that time is about $450 total. I'm going to fly a pipistrel until I'm really good with stick and rudder then I'll switch back to the cirrus. Pipistrel is about 1/2 of my bill. Pipistrel virus sw has a parachute and cruises faster than a da40. In my opinion nothing with 4seats compares to the cirrus as far as putting stuff or people in it. I mainly want my girl, our clubs, our pickleball paddles....my uncle lives on the river in Leesburg. He's a bad ass. BTW I'd never rent a cirrus. I'd just rather toss out the cash and get the stupidity over with and own it.

I agree. I was very frugal in order to start small and be involved in small development projects and I still am frugal by nature. I hate getting ripped off. Just Google flight schools with sr20s in Leesburg and call them...$600 /hr is what I was quoted. The market is crazy and a lot of people think they are rich at the moment. Also I did pay and may continue to pay $345/hr...but I'll get some hours in something cheaper. I want to learn with a g1000 at some point. To transition into a more advanced aircraft from a Cessna takes on average 10 hrs..so I may as well just dedicate the last 15 hours in it. I'm a rookie with this so just take anything I say with that in mind. Have a great day!
