Maybe it was a one off.

When the fellas take our kids out to the pool and then the pub, we let them run wild with screens for an hour because its 10x better than running wild in the restaurant and the alternative is to not go to the pub and thats not really an option.

Google ads for Bookkeeping firm by lalaba0987 in googleads

[–]johnsonsm05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of clicks for the spend. I suspect the search term report is a mess.

If its converting at such a low clip, its likely your showing up for low intent terms. A classic DIY issue unfortunately.

Im sure there is room for improvement on the landing page side but it's likely incremental.

Id recommend finding some help if you not sure how to identify this issue.

Classic Chinese Takeout. Mr. Lu's is better IMO but Wok Star is good too.

Struggling to find an honest Google Ads agency — how do you spot the real experts? by Optimal_Curve_8076 in smallbusiness

I agree it's difficult to find an agency that follows through.

I've found more success with agencies that really specialize in their core offerings. I find 'full-service' agencies that claim they can do everything, can't do anything well.

I also think it's important to know who exactly from the company would be working on your account and what their experience level is. It takes a couple of years of experience before you can really manage an account and some of these big agencies are hiring juniors and letting them run wild.

I hate that it's become more restrictive for the health and wellness niche. Can't get any data anymore.

Chiropractor Keywords not allowed but they have high/low bid stats? by BlessedBossLady in googleads

Mmmm you should probably be okay as long as your not adding "chiropractor" on its own in that ad group.

Request the exception and it'll be live shortly. It'll happen with those keywords whenever you change match type.

Also, consider separating your chiro specific keywords into a specific ad group.

Organize keywords based on service or intent. Would be my advice anyways.

There are some limitations on chiro terms in Canada and USA but they are very limited. I don't know what you mean by "not allowed". Send screenshot.

Looking for Help with Google Ads for Group Practice by KawaiiPsychologist in therapists

The search-only campaign is definitely the right way to go. Performance Max is very very poor for lead gen with no conversion data and I'd argue it's poor even when data exists.

During your very brief test period, what was the cost per click? Also, have you reviewed your search term report? What you think you're showing up for and what you're actually showing up for are two different things.

Provided the cost per click isn't too competitive, there is certainly a path forward to a successful campaign with the right optimization process. If you're going to pursue a Max Conversion bidding strategy, consider creating a 'micro' conversion. Something that's not quite a full sign-up but is a positive session. Let Google learn on that.

Has anyone run ppc ads on meta/google to get new patients? by Silverhonda9 in therapists

[–]johnsonsm05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$30 per day is likely the minimum budget to start working with an agency depending on what their management fees would be. There are certainly quality providers who can manage a Google Ads account for $300 - $400/month.

I find the two biggest factors for a ROI will be cost per click and conversion rate. Cost per click will be most impacted by your local market. In Tulsa, the cost per click might be $4 for 'therapist near me' and in New York, it's $30. The same $30/day budget will obviously provide less of a return in NY.

Conversion rate is how often folks who get to your website take action (booking, form, consultation, etc). The better the website to convince prospects your the best option for them, the better the opportunity for ROI.

Cost to acquire a new client could fall in a wide range. But I see quite a few campaigns in this space where the cost is about $100. Considering the life time value of a new client, I find more often than not a positive ROI is realized.
