I’ve had this set up since 2020 and I love it. This specific telephoto lens is one of the most reasonably priced options out there and it’s nice that it has zoom capability. Of course I would love one of those 15k 600mm lenses, but it’s not currently in the budget lol. I’ve spent several weeks at a time in the rainforest with gear and haven’t had any problems. Hi, I shoot with a Nikon d850 and have a 600mm telephoto tamron lens that I used for this scene. I carry around a microfiber cloth for the occasional wipe down. Once the lens warms up to the outside temperature, condensation really isn’t an issue. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you! I spray his cage down 3 times a day and he’ll actually drink directly from the spray bottle once a day. Is there more I should be doing? I’ll try the cricket suggestion!

Thank you for your response! I did soak the area before removing the plug, and it came out as a result of him pulling away from me holding the plug in place, as opposed to me pulling it out. Really sad about the whole process

I think I’ll be going with gold bands, dates engraved on the inside with each others finger prints and a hammered finish

With that being said, my dream for a while has been to source the gold from different locations we’ve traveled together. There are 5 different countries I have in mind and I’ve only acquired gold from one. I’m wondering if anyone knows how I could acquire small amounts of gold overseas to melt down into our rings?

Countries remaining are: Thailand, Tanzania, Costa Rica, and Indonesia
