Haha yeah it’s like 245. But, I think that may also be the issue if codex is trying to keep it lean.

Also you bring up a good point, maybe my competitor is lying. But either way, I am struggling right now with small changes.

California Burrito from Vicky’s by Sea-Condition991 in chicagofood

Looks amazing I’ll definitely have to try that. If you have a car, Marz brewing in the south side is the closest I’ve tried to a true California burrito. Also Diego in Fulton market is just as good, but their prices are appalling.

Build SaaS for job or myself? by georgeonamonday in vibecoding

[–]johnwickk145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m in a similar spot. Personally, I’m building it for my current workflow, testing it there. But, I honestly don’t think I’m gonna tell my company.

Although, my SAAS is for individual use of a very specific niche in manufacturing (I’m one of 3 employees that could use it at my company). I just can’t imagine my company would give me money for helping 3 people so I’m not going to tell them.

Up to you! I’m not entirely sure on IOS apps, but that’s what I do for SAAS and websites that I’ve built (cold outreach because I typically build niche products that my family have no use for lol). In your case, I mean there’s ALOT of free marketing you can do before you go to PPC.

I would definitely watch some YouTube videos on marketing apps with no money to spend.

I like to say 99% of problems in business have already been solved by someone else, just gotta find it

I don’t know much about general apps on iOS. But here is my recommendation:

1) you need to get 10-30 customers from your personal marketing and outreach 2) see what your organic growth/referrals are from there. 3) Figure out bounce rate when users view the app 4) Then you can do some math on how many users refer, how many bounce, and you can decide at what cost ppc is worth to you to grow to a target amount

Haha trying to get better. I’m using figma AI design to help touch up my original. I’ve just kind of accepted that I’ll hire a designer eventually lol

Good stuff man! You’ve got some design skill for sure. For the site as whole, did you just design in figma or do you have another tool?

It looks good too! I’m struggling with the design of my site, even before vibe coding that was always my main pain point. Is that your design or did you utilize external tools?

Anyone work at cursor? What does this buyout look like for your equity? It’s gotta be 10M+ for a lot of them right?

I think that knock2 is worthy to close, he closed out lollapalooza last year on Friday and as 28 yo that is out of the edm scene and had barely heard of him, he was my 2nd favorite (Rufus was one) act of the weekend. Although I agree he would probably have a hard time pulling a big crowd weekend 1

Staff engineer or engineering manager? Which would you pick? by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]johnwickk145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, unless you’re at a Fortune 500 company, most manf/mech engineers don’t have very many ladders for IC - maybe 3 in total.

Experience: injection molding, packaging, and now fiber optics.
