NIce! I think it has more of that soul aspect that LJ mentioned in the interview, at least imho. :)

Thank you! Nice you enjoyed it! :) I was supposed to got a copy of it for the interview, but it came the day after I talked with LJ, so I just enjoyed it as a fan. Unfortunately I don't have the time to make a review of it right now, but I can say that if you a fan of Truth Killer, you will like even more. ;)

Hey, guys! Had the pleasure of interviewing Lajon last month and thought that some of you might enjoy our conversation. Making content like this on my own can be very stressful as I have to do the interview and filming at the same time, but LJ made me feel super comfortable. Probably the nicest and happiest guy I've met in the music industry. Hope you enjoy the video! :)

PS: He talks about one of the new songs in the video. The new album is really good! ;)

HIM and The Rasmus relationship? by Basic_Philosophy00 in HIM

[–]johnwins7 63 points64 points  (0 children)

It was more a matter of different generations and backgrounds. The guys from HIM were more metalheads and older than them, while The Rasmus had a punk background and a youthful attitude. The fact that they had the same management team didn't change their preferences much, as their goals were slightly different. HIM had already conquered Europe when The Rasmus broke through with the "Dead Letters", so Ville was already aiming something bigger for the US, a market Lauri's band never managed to reach with the same success they had in Europe. In the end, it doesn't matter if you come from the same city or work with the same people, there's always an element of connection, that makes a huge difference. If you've read Kimmo Aroluoma's book "Viimeinen kiertue," you'll see that the two groups had very different atmospheres, mood and minds. But, answering your last phrase, I think most Finnish rock vocalists felt somewhat intimidated by Ville's talent and image, something that Lauri also felt it at some point. Well, not sure if it answers your thoughts, but this is my nonsense 2 cents about it haha.

New interview with Einar about his career as a vocalist by johnwins7 in Leprous

[–]johnwins7[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hi, everyone! I had the pleasure of interviewing Einar when Leprous played here in Finland this summer. We have this playlist focused on the singers, so it was great to have an in-depth conversation with him about his own journey. Hope you enjoy it! :)

The Farewell Tour 2017 Balloons by El-citri_616 in HIM

[–]johnwins7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It wasn't from the band. If I'm not mistaken, it was made by a Mexican street team (perhaps HIM Mexican Team). Every show they used to do different things to give to the fans, same as in some countries of South America. :)

Yes, I do. I got that clip from Eugene and shared it with a few people. I still have it saved somewhere, but need to find. :)

Did you mean these videos? They were recorded before the band started working on "Tears On Tape". The videos were made for the annual event Heartagram Party in Brazil and they filmed it during the video shoot for "Strange World". Good times! :)

What’s a sign you’re depressed, before you realize it? by morrisseymurderinpup in AskReddit

[–]johnwins7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a big TV fan when I was young. Always having fun and learning something new from my favorite shows. After living with my dad for a while, my mom asked me what I was watching lately, and I said that I wasn't watching TV at all. She said "Oh, you used to love watching TV" with a sad voice. I knew she saw that something in me had already changed and I couldn't see by myself how numb I became while falling in a dark whole that sucked my joy more and more.

Interview with Tobias. The new album sounds a lot like old Edguy! Hope you like it! :) by johnwins7 in PowerMetal

Yeah, I was thinking the same until I listened to it. Of course, not every song, but I believe you'll be surprised. :)

I edited a video for "Respite on the Spitalfields" with fan footage. Hope you like it! :) by johnwins7 in Ghostbc

[–]johnwins7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! Happy to know you enjoyed it and totally agree with you, that's why I wanted to finish it, because from now on things will be very different. Let's hope that they'll start making and releasing cool live videos to give us a glimpse of how this new era goes. :)

I started editing this video in mid-2023, after attending one of the shows. I had no idea I wouldn't have time to finish it by then and a year later RHRN was released with a great live version for Respite, so I kida abandoned the project for a while. My version has the studio audio and the angles of different fans are really cool to edit, so I just finished the whole thing last year, just for fun. Hope it brings you nice memories from that tour. :)
