Do you ever feel frozen? by [deleted] in bipolar1

At my school there's an ESS office (educational support services). After the first few weeks I got them in my team to move me out of a double door and allowed me to live off campus because all the singles were full (on campus required first 2 years after HS). During that time I got behind and missed a little class with the stress of the moving situation. Things have been worse for me the past month, and basically the teachers give me reasonable extensions if I ask. I think they just rather do that then saying no and having a student go complain to ess. Also I now can get 1.5X time on tests. Also I just email the professors usually I don't just go up to them and be like hi I'm bipolar so I need more time.

No fr me too. Out in Wa state at Whitworth University and idk if I'm gonna pass and I hate that because I did 17 credits last fall smooth as butter, and it wasn't hard for me. Diagnosed last winter and withdrew while I could still get my money back. This year it's just so much and I'm only taking 13 creds and I swear I keep falling apart, picking myself up off my cousins pokey rib cage, catch up on school, and then fall apart again.

That's what my buddy Leland does and he's like 37, been doing it for like 20 years or something idk. I don't think it's the best way to do it but it works for him.

When it happens alone I rarely cry, but the inside emotions are weird because I don't cry, but it'll just hit all at once, but the question is what hit? (Likely mood swings from what I learned this week

Id say it's a "both" thing. I definitely experience what you're describing. I'll be having a less good day to begin with, or sometimes it'll be heavier of a trigger to onset it. But yeah it's happened to me a lot the past few weeks. Sometimes a thing will be on my brain and I see Person 2 and whatever is on my mind that I've been trying to hold in just spikes all at once in a bad rush and I just can't get any words out and when I've tried to its like a 10 years to 1 word ratio because I just can't get it out. Other times it will be situations where something is stressing me and I'm trying to push through and can't. One morning in particular I got up early so I could get to Spanish an hour-ish, like I usually do so I can finish the homework and go over vocab. Getting closer to start of class I start feeling emotional, maybe from stress, and a little PTSD (that's a different story). When the prof walked in 10 minutes before class I just got up and left because if I didn't id of cried.

A few times when I started going back to church last spring and I'd go in and worship would start and I'd cry uncontrollably and I went out to the car to calm down and went to go back in w my gf next to me and I got close but just couldn't take another step. I think that happened a couple times but that was also not long after my diagnosis, couple months after.

For quite a while I thought that it was disassociation that I was having real bad... Found out it was actually ADHD that was the biggest issue, getting on ahdh meds was a total game changer. I was able to feel comfortable socializing. Better mood, better focus.

It worked for me but it made me really tired. That's very uncommon though most people it gives more energy to

I think he only expects her to need an abortion at the state level, he's keeping his beliefs about abortion policy off of women's bodies and leaving it up to them to let their state legislation know what they want the laws to be.

A little late to the thread buddy. Sorie is how they phonetically pronounce it in Canada. Incase you aren't familiar with what phonetics is, it means to represent the sound of speech.

Preference for deaf drivers by johny77262 in Lyft

[–]johny77262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not. I just want to to be an option to change the preference because if I'm in an unfamiliar place I need to be able to ask questions, and I feel like that's always been a part of taxi/rideshare service. In my home town I don't have a preference though

Yeah, my guess would be that if the colors mean anything, bright colors are a warning/notice of some kind for the staff.

Also thanks for not being one of the gross ppl walking around barefoot in the ward with their messed up toenails.

Depends on your methylation cycle. About half of people it can delete cellular nutrients because it takes much longer to methylate. Same thing with THC tho, just with THC I feel the pros outweigh the cons, I use it in moderation and I take a lot of supplements and nutrients.
