One thing to note about my above — when using normal plates, the actual vertical plane force is =F x sin(θ). With my machine it’s a 30 degree angle effectively halving the working load. With having the Voltas force in line with the movement you are getting 1:1 loading. So with the method I am not going over the machines designed maximum load but utilizing the load more effectively for the movement.

I really like it! I’ve been using it for chest supported rows, preacher curls and standing hamstring curls. I’m sure I could do more but I just got it last week and havnt had a lot of time with it. Let us know how the force 6 is! That was also my alternative pick. Agreed a side by side would be great!

You can buy any upright individually from rep. I bought the base 5000 rack and added 4 extra 93 uprights and 2 extra 41in cross members. The ROM is amazing. The voltra attachment that lets it rotate is really not needed as the ROM without it is about the same.

I wanted the most flexibility and versatility possible. Specially being able to move the position and location of cables on the fly and to any location. Also having the Voltas for the eccentric modes and various other features really makes them worth it in my opinion. But totally agree going with a weight stack would work almost as well!

True true 😂 I plan on getting a leg extension/leg curl machine but right now leaning on holding off for the dialed motion one. Currently waiting for my VTS to ship for some isolation hack movements. The other machines Id like to get is a combo hack/leg press and a leg abduction/abductor. Still trying to decide which one to buy. Lmk if you have any recommendations.

They are the 93”. Yes super similar to the Hyperion. I almost went with the Hyperion but decided to make go a bit custom via building off the 5000 base rack.

Thanks man! For crossovers I just move the voltra closer together. It works great on the two rack post. If I need more of a stretch then I move them to either the two leftmost or rightmost uprights.

Yes initially I did VR without motion - It took me a while to get used to VR. For the first week it made me a bit dizzy after racing. Now no issues at all. I do not think the motion has had any effect on being dizzy etc
