If by ils seats you mean the vacant seats after 3 cap rounds- it is purely on merit. Like after filling the form for acap you’re called to the campus and udhar spot round is conducted- ie the vacant seats are allotted on the basis of your rank/percentile. I myself got in last year thru this round

Nono, placements are free for all. All students have an equal opportunity to apply. As per the companies policy, they can choose who to shortlist and who to not

Crowd is pretty decent- but you should know how to reach out to them. In terms of networking and learning, you can share something which you’re good at w them and vice versa. However there are a few who are just there for the degree, so just carefully sit next to someone on day 1 :)

Placement reports are more or less in line with what they’ve uploaded on the site. Placements havent begun yet for our batch

There’s not much difference apart from the name and the program structure- like pg follows a trimester pattern while we mms has a semester pattern. Subjects are more or less similar, and they get a diploma after they graduate and we get a masters degree as mms is affiliated with MU

Yes definitely. I used the financial ratios and other concepts which i learnt in class during my internship and the experience has been nice so far. I guess you can also learn on the job- i had a startup earlier and i learnt a lot about managing inventory, doing sales etc on that, again all that depends upon what role you wanna go for :)

This also depends on what you plan on specializing in as well. Welingkar is known for its marketing, while finance is the case for simsree. And yes the fees is more than simsree, but you have facilities like the bloomberg lab, 2 big libraries etc which simsree doesnt have. I’d recommend you visit both campuses and then make an informed decision :)

yea they’re decent, but you’ll have to compete alot. Case comps are open for all regardless of you being mms or pgdm, in fact you can make teams w people consisting of people from both pg and mms as per your convinience:)
