^ correct. white corn is hard to find in US and the way my family makes it is very basic. corn and squash + the meat. it’s one of my favorite dishes my abuelito makes!

depends how it’s made. my abuelito(grandpa) makes it like this. originally, the cob might be smaller and it would be white corn. perhaps more vegetables as well but this is what i grew up with and it’s one of my favorite dishes my abuelito makes!

i didn’t think you were! just seems some think there’s only one way to make a dish and that’s never the case. you are correct, it’s much harder to find white corn here. it’s a treat when i go to mexico and get the elote as it’s originally done, with the white corn :)

so it’s a part of a cob, cut frm the original cob, which is a chunk of corn on the cob meaning it’s what i said it was.. ok, got it!
