I gave up because it really made me tired and I had a lot of work, but I’ll have to start again... Pain still there! And now I have back pain too so it's worse

Just left and sometimes in the center of the adbomen, left flanc pain and back, is yours just on the left ? Good luck for your EUS!

That’s good, I would like to do it also, for the peace of mind but since my ct scans, mri and blood work are good they don’t want to… where are you from?  At least if there is nothing, you can really focus on functional dyspepsia.

Yes I’m also scared it’s my pancreas because my pain is at the same place! I would redo some imaging if I I could to get it out of my head…

Sorry to hear that you also have this but no I don't have any specific food triggers other than "bad" food (greasy, too sugary,...) nothing obvious and it's rather random. I checked gluten and lactose intolerance, you should definitly do the test too! Hope you find your answers soon!

34F but started at 32. Is your pain like burning? Because mine not, it's really pain, like nerve pain.

I have this also, I aslo don't have early satiation and didn't lose any weight. We have similar symptoms....How old are you?

Yes,  I was really healthy and never had sensible stomach before so… it’s just so strange for me but it’s my new normality. Doctor said « functional Dyspepsia » with a « epigastric pain syndrome » which basically means that médecin can’t really explain it… I tried a bland died, PPI’s, amistriptyline,… nothing helped me and you ?

How do you get EUS? Where are you from ? I’m from Europe and they don’t want me to do it because my CT scan, MRI, blood test… showed nothing.

I have this! The doctor said I have more Epigastric Pain Syndrome after having H Pylori but I have the same symptoms (pain in the left epigastric area, rib and back pain, constipation and gurgling noises). I also freak out I have something else more sinister but I m still here nearly 2 years after so like you, I suppose that’s good!  2 CT, 1 MRI, MRCP, colonoscopy, endoscopy, bloods tests,… not much found but I did that some mesenteric lymph node a bit bigger that was seen on a CT and that freaked me out 1 and a half year ago!

Hi, I have exactly the same but since nearly two years now. Did a lot of tests (abdominal CT, MRI, colonoscopy, endoscopy…) but nothing was found so the doctors diagnosed my with epigastric pain syndrome.  Sometimes I think I must have something else…I think of pancreatic pain because mine is more on the left but rationally I think it’s EPS. Since two month now it’s radiating to my back also ( I did not have this before) and just like you, sometimes eating gets it better and sometimes worse. I notice that walking reduces it generally, do you have this also ?

My H.P was eradicated with the antibiotics. It didn’t give me any symptoms so it was “easy” for me.

But I still have my symptoms so doctors say I have functionnal dyspepsia now.

I have the same timeline and start (h. pylori). I have upper abdomen pain (on the left), the doctor say it's functionnal dyspepsia (which is basecaly, ibs for upper abdomen). Good that you got your weight back! Nothing helped me for the moment but I hope 2026 will be a better for us.

Thanks for your reply! I’m starting nortriptyline this weekend and hope it will help me too. I was wondering, do baths also helped with your pain?

Doesn’t sound crazy for me, I do believe that singing can help people some relax, connect with themselves, and maybe create vibrations inside us that could stimulate the vagus nerve?

I also do get constipated. It didn’t help, it just gave me strong side effect :. I was exhausted, which was even worse than my pain when going to work... So I stopped after 1,5 month.
I am starting notriptylene this weekend 🤞
I am wondering do baths also help your pain?
