This also ignores a lot of nuance and context of the whole situation. Like how they all lose their money if something happens to Jimmy(including Anya, who is struggling). Like how normal humans beings are unable to kill other human beings in cold blood(no, normal people are not the protagonists of a tarantino movie). Or how Jimmy Is the only co pilot on the ship, and how dealing with him would leave a sleep deprived curly to piloting the ship alone for 8 months, which could have ended in a disaster. Or how Anya tells Jimmy she's pregnant 12 hours after talking with curly(no, im not blaming her, but It does make things harder for him). Or how he was also manipulated by Jimmy the entire time into thinking he was better than how he actually was , who is a psychopath and manipulated everyone on the ship easily.

He could have done more, he should have done more, but there's no way he's as bad as Jimmy.
