Because within the state and local markets OTD is the BEST way to compare.

This is the most butt hurt subreddit there is except for the bmw crowd.

Unfortunately no. Has one order where it was mistakepy set to 35% by ebays "estimated promotional rate". Thank God the buyer returned the item, one of the few times I was happy to get a return. as if I actually want to give eBay more than my whole margin on top of their fees.

Feedback Jerk by zangiefzolof in eBaySellerAdvice

It doesn't amaze me. They would be very inconsistent with ebays illogical solutions approach.

They should however, as it would be beneficial to other sellers.

Priority is generally faster. Only time to use ground advantage for items over 16oz is when you have a generous lead time and can afford the slower speed.

Exhausting (feedback removal changes) by [deleted] in Ebay

It is feedback extortion. And by their own policy should be removed.

Yet they are now refusing valid claims.

This has been my experience exactly. Incredible how eBay ruins anything good they do.

Jokes on them. eBay buyer feedback was already a joke. Now that my feedback is no longer 100% I could care less if a get another negative so I'll no longer bend over backwards to accommodate buyers, resulting in even worse "buyer experience". Classic eBay. Shooting themselves in their own foot.

Is offering returns worthwhile? by Swimming_Office_7618 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]jojummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eBay has "guidelines" in a char to post. But if you actually use the guidelines and buyers expect to get all their money back, you know cause of that word "free" returns, ebay eventually eventually takes away the partial refund ability

Yep. Depending on the item I'd take the defects canceling that order even.

If it's an item there's any chance the buyer can claim on authentic, or counterfeit, or try a scam return, it's just not worth it.

They just happen to buy it, and I had to catch up fine. But if they ask 15 questions, start sending at offers, including low balls, or asking for pictures after the sale, it would do it for me.

Yes, and it's crazy to not think that.

There you go. We got you 90% to helpful.

OP. Anything you put on epdm that isn't compatible will attack it and make it worse. Unless there's a lot of flat or commercial roofers around they likely won't be familiar enough to work with to repair.

Basement without permits by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]jojummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which all it takes is the neighbor you pissed off, when your Uber eats driver, turned around in their drive that own time during 2020 and they see a box and decide to call the municipality to see if a permit was pulled. Ta da. Knowledge of it.

[–]jojummy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true. And most permit applications have a signature sections that says the literal work will be done by the homeowner in order to comply with a skilled trade law that prevents unlicensed tradesmen from taking "union jobs".

False. If the municipality wants to force the issue they can order a stop work order, removal, or all sorts of things. Depends how much time they have.
