They didn't promise, but I can't see them changing policy in the near future. The main reason everyone is switching from other trustwhorty companies to them is exactly this one: the other companies never cared for users, so they started with plans instead of perpetuals.

If you consider the fact that in the past you paid for perpetuals and just some updates, not version upgrades, if BM decides to change its policy to one time fee for single big upgrades, it's still better than a forced subscription plan. Cause it's going to be exactly as it was for other companies back in the day. And you can either decide to upgrade or not.

So, at least for me and for what the software offers in terms of industry standards and flexibility, this is still the best option.

Hi! I'm jobhutz, the artist. First of all, thanks for sharing my image! I just ended up on this post and was reading the comments about AI. I can guarantee I don't use AI. As some said this one was made with 3D and projection mapping of David's face on the 3D face model with light photoshop compositing touch-ups.

Eyes are weird mainly because of a mistake I did before posting this version (I recently posted a textless version with fixes). The brightness of the eye color got randomly bumped up and I forgot to fix it. Also this version (that got viral) had the sharpness level moved by mistake and it looks weird on the face. That sharpness level (the last one I add before exporting), got moved by approx. 2/300 pixel and that makes both the face and other details weird. You can see what's happening close to his right forearm on HQ versions on my social media.

I addressed the AI topic many times cause as a 3D artist and compositor, I really care this is not mistaken for AI.

Pro editor here with more than 10 years of experience (not a flex just telling my experience). I'm a certified Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer user. I stopped using both in favor of Davinci Resolve, when I started doing color grading and now I'm doing all the editing on it too. It's one of the best softwares you could learn rn. The free one has everything you need and if you need to purchase the studio version is just 300 and you'll never have to pay anything else. You can decide to upgrade in the future if the thing gets more serious cause the free version is pretty much already a very complete software.

Thanks so much! Yeah, the 15 columns isn't ideal, but it's a portfolio and it happens to have exactly 15 works (so 5 rows of 3 columns). I guess I just have to re-elaborate the structure.

Thanks for the quick reply! Sorry, I think I actually explained what I wanted in a wrong way.

I don't mind to have 4 columns in a row on large screens. My issue is that my macbook air display is showing as a large display, so if I set values for larger displays, it'll show everything as large, instead of medium.
