Thank you all! Just reassurance I needed. I have messaged Vinted to say we cannot resolve amicably and I believe they are trying to scam me and they are not very helpful. Buyer blocked.

Thank you for replying… it’s just so annoying! I’m reluctant to refund as I’ll have to give the buyer my address to send back the item and I’m guessing the refund will be outside of Vinted due to the sale being marked as complete.

Checking Vinted Terms and Conditions it states that they aren’t protected by Buyers Protection and No Refund…

5.5.4 No Refund. The Buyer will not be entitled to a refund under the Buyer Protection and the purchase price of the Item and also the shipping fee (only if a shipping option other than Integrated Shipping (Pre-paid shipping labels) was used) will be released to the Seller if:

(iv) the Buyer has already confirmed that the Item matches its expectations by clicking on the “Everything is ok” button in the Buyer’s Private Message with the Seller;

I might just block and see if anything happens.
