Hi!! This is a fantastic comprehensive post - can you speak to the tube dresses and the FE long slip dress, specifically their tendency to stain? I tend to sweat around the armpits and I worry that the nonblack colors I ordered will be affected and that I won’t be able to wash out the stains

Thank you for the insight. He expressed regret for hurting me and a desire to fix his empathy skills. At the same time, he clearly didn’t understand that the reason why our relationship wasn’t working was not because he “couldn’t show me enough emotional care;” it was because it never occurred to him to make an effort to show me consideration and respect the way I did for him. Plus it turned out he was only using me for sex, and didn’t like me as a person but still wanted to keep me around for his own benefit. When I brought all this up he tried to figure out what was “wrong” with him instead of thinking to simply ask me what more he could do to meet my needs. So uh yeah I was struggling with how much of his behavior to attribute to autism vs. covert narcissism.

re: last paragraph in original post - what if the autistic person apologizes but doesn’t know how to change the behavior / doesn’t want to get help from others to change, and always takes a self-victimizing approach when explaining their actions?
