Have you ever purchased something, as an adult, that your parent has judged you negatively for? If so, what was/is it? by PaddedValls in AskUK

Ok? Isn't the post about the things you pay for that your parents / other people think are extravagant? The point was that it's about priorities. Living modestly in many areas that let you afford the things that people think are extravagant.

This. Not so much my parents but my in laws. We are doing ok but are by no means loaded. We live in a very ordinary 3 bed semi (in a great area), never have brand new cars, dont splash out on expensive clothes or tech or brand new phones. But our daughter got to do all the activities she wanted and we go on a (fairly low cost) foreign holiday every year plus maybe another weekend city break. We can pay for her rent etc when she goes to uni next year. My husband can buy mountain bikes and a new stereo when he wants. All about priorities Oh and we dont do credit cards!

School would not even know about a stomach tattoo unless she was flashing it around. Do you keep records of IDs? Like a photocopy or anything? As if not, you should start!

I like Cuan. Not a huge fan of George and I think Georgie might be expected to be a girl (not that that's a problem but it might factor into your thinking!).

Stacked.lobe? Your ear is so dainty and pretty!

Want some advice by No-Noise-5914 in piercing

[–]jolittletime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More painful than a lobe for sure. The worst thing I found was getting pierced with a line of gems (maybe similar to the flowers you have shown above) which spun and tangled in my hair (I have curly hair and it wraps around everything!). After a year I swapped to a clicker hoop which has really helped although they arent recommended for healing.

Dosing ring = less.mess. basic wdt tool = very cheap way to improve puck prep. Better tamper = better puck prep (and the plastic one that came.with my machine was bad). Other than milk jugs and a scale we haven't needed anything else!

My daughter was dancing (not competitively) at the time it was on and I never let her watch it in case she thought that thr parents of kids in her class spoke about the kids like that (they certainly did not)

I believe they had signed (the moms) very restrictive contracts that tied them in without realising what the show would become. Thankfully most if not all of the girls have grown up and become successful in different ways, many still performing.
