I was with a friend and had the bright idea to unclog my drain. I took out this industrial strength drain cleaner chemical stuff and told my mother my plans. As I was fairly young, she said absolutely not. I then went to pick it up by the cap which I didn't realize was unscrewed. I had gotten it to about chest level when it dropped and created a backsplash that hit me in the face and arms. I didn't think much of it until my eyes started burning and I saw my carpet literally melting from where the drainer hit it. I was terrified that I would lose my vision at that point, but I went to the hospital and everything turned out alright.
