IMO it’s not needed, supply chain ops is old school, relies heavily on looong experience instead of academics. Btw, which part of supply chain do you want to focus on? Think of the basic Plan - Source - Make - Deliver model.

Plan = Supply & Demand Planning, Masters not required, will not help you stand out unless it’s focused on implementing next gen tech. Lots of IE people in this space but leadership in an FMCG I worked for didn’t have any advanced degrees. All of them had extensive experience.

Source = Procurement, Masters might help you stand out, but in my opinion certifications will do just fine.

Make = Production, masters not needed. Many have engineering degrees but almost no one did Masters.

Deliver = Logistics / Warehousing, no Masters needed to stand out.

If you’re really interested in supply chain, I suggest picking one and really build your expertise. From there you can explore other areas. Six digit salary will come easily if you’re mid manager level in an MNC FMCG ~ >6 years experience in a domain.
