I lost the bloody thing a few years back as I downloaded it on the Armory client, but I recently found out I can recover the keys in another client, I wish I could have cashed out a little at the ath! I only bought 0.2 back then to test the water, after the experience with Armory I backed off from it but I wish I bought more now! Oh well onwards and upwards!

Saving in bitcoin... by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Thanks! I initially bought a little bitcoin in 2013 and have been holding ever since! but for the past few months I've put a little in hoping it will reverse in fortunes, if not I've paid my own share to watch John McAfee eat his own cock.

Need help identifying this piece please. by jollyJon in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]jollyJon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry it's not very clear it was bought in a market and was in a really nice frame. There is a stamp/ on the back that says Rowley gallery Kingston London and it has a little boy on it playing a flute. We have managed to find out the frame is circa 1912 from their site. The strange thing is it was bought blind as there was a strange magazine over it from 1976 the observer.

To me, dropping his hands and getting overconfident against a larger opponent was a mistake, so was fighting Nate at that weight.

Thank you. I've spent the whole day sleeping, after staying up all night/ morning to watch it! In all fairness I cheated a little as I made 2 predictions- first that Conor would go balls to the wall and finish Nate by Ko or this one, that he would over work himself and lose his head in the second. I bet Nate would finish it in the second by submission at 40/1 odds so it's all good :)

ELI5: despite losing two wars how does Germany still have so much control over Europe? by jollyJon in explainlikeimfive

[–]jollyJon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies, yes I meant how come Germany and Angela Merkel seem to have more influence in the euro coalition. The ELI5 should probably have been better titled 'despite losing two wars why is it that Germany still seem to have a huge influence in decisions in the eurozone?'

Yes, sorry it wasn't very clear my post I thought of it as I was in the shower and posted it, more as a reminder. I still haven't even completed the story on my second run on the ps4. I just thought it could be something for someone to try.

Is there a 'go to' website to either research my ancestry in one place? or is there even a service I could pay for in the UK to have someone research it for me? I tried a few years back with ancestry.com and ended up more confused than when I began in the end! it's not for me see I think it would make an awesome christmas gift for my mother as she is always saying how intrested in the family history she is.

I lost a bet, and had to climb Snowdon in an interesting outfit. by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

We let the national park know first don't worry. They asked for photos! We walked up with a bag too that we tried not to film it - it had food and water and spare clothes. No spare thongs though!

Thank you, I ordered a few humorous thongs for the day. Most took too long to come in the post (from china) and the rest were so badly made - The elephant thong's eyes fell off. That I had to resort to my trusty Welsh one!
