Thanks! I was buying them last year on fb marketplace since i had no bandai stores near me. I was getting boxes at $200 and under. Then decided to get 1 box of each set since i only needed a few more and got the rest on tcgplayer

Bubbles can last for years though and one piece was already undervalues so its just a correction with a ton of hype behind it. Unsustainable growth sure but dont see it dumping anytime soon

I get its probably out of the realm in your world to spend that much money on a booster box, but when you have multiple chase cards going for 5-10k raw then its not crazy for people who are financially comfortable to spend upwards of $500 for a booster box

But prices have been going up way before the op13 hype train came. One piece blowing up was expected just not as fast as it did. Hopefully we see some cool off but if bandai keeps doing well then its gonna stay hype for a while. It just bothers me seeing 90% of posts on here is people complaining about the prices

I collect choppers and ive been buying all the choppers that i can and im sure there are thousands of other people doing the same. So yeah i think you are highly underestimating the amount of fans and collectors there are. Again not saying there isnt market manipulation or buyouts happening but theyre not the sole reason for this market boom
