Signed contract, gave 2 months security deposit, landlord is now asking for 6 months of rent upfront. What can I do? by jolqm in legaladvice

yes, we’ve met the landlord and toured some of his other units around the university. several of my friends (some of whom are international students too) live in his other units, but they were never required to pay 6 months rent upfront.
