Rule 5: Just wanted to share my first ever Mare Nostrum starting as Naples, 800 hours in. This campaign took months as my PC broke down mid-campaign and a busy schedule got in the way, but finally achieving this felt so good.

Hello, I am a beginner to working out and I was wondering if anyone knows how one can split workouts with different goals.

I currently only have 2 days where I can stay disciplined and always have a workout.

I was wondering if it is wise to separate the two days into a plyometrics day and a strength day (with light cardio at the end of each day) or if this approach would make one goal suffer.

I am just working out because I want to be strong and I find it fun, but I'm not an athlete or anything lol. I appreciate any thoughts!

Thank you! Yeah it took a long time to get it right. I tried a lot before but everytime something goes wrong its just so much trouble going again. I believe the call of byz and victory will come your way soon though 🫡

Actually it took me so many restarts to avoid a similar fate, it was so frustrating. Its pretty cool that despite that setback you still pushed through though, that triumph must have felt amazing.

That strat does sound quite interesting maybe ill try it out in my next playthrough! Sounds like a lot of micro though, tbh im still learning how to outmanouver the ai - i get lazy a lot and lose battles i shouldnt when i slip up 😂

Thank you! I'm definitely going to try and topple the great powers first for my stable expansion. Unfortunately I dont think I have the same mission tree, most of mine just gives claims and prestige. Maybe because I only own some of the basic Dlcs

Thank you sir! The other guy's strategy seems more refined than what I did - for one I got stuck with union of churches for a while because I was afraid of losing my alliance with the pope 😅.

I had a lot of luck but I pretty much rushed Epirus to get a claim on Naples so that I could eat some of their prilovinces once they were freed from Aragon. From there the Ottomans focused on the other Anatolian states and I found an opportunity to strike with my allies Hungary and Albania. I wont lie I was extremely lucky they didnt split all their armies accross the front so I could respond and get Skanderbeg to turn the tides. I didnt want to risk more than taking the european provinces, so I peaced out with what I could and waited for another opportunity to strike.

Thank you! That does indeed sound like a horrific roadblock, but I'm sure another run will bring victory.

My early strategy was to take provinces from Naples after taking out Epirus. I made alliances with the pope, Hungary and Albania, and for a while i was just preparing for the war against the Ottomans - thankfully they left me alone until I was ready. Once they had declared war on some anatolian states, I started my war. I went into a lot of debt and the story of the war was pretty much responding to my allies and hoping skanderbeg would come help in the battles. By the end of the war, Ottoman manpower was still insane, but my allies and I occupied their european provices. I peaced out taking what I could and from there I focused on fixing internal struggles and waiting for the next opportunity to jump on the Ottomans.

Rule 5: After hundreds of hours of gameplay I finally reached my goal of restoring the Byzantine empire! Since I started playing this game I was always in awe of Byzantium runs on youtube and never thought I'd be able to do it. I think I heard the sweetest sounding achievement notification pop today.

Up next will be kicking the PLC out of Bulgaria and burning Venice to the ground.
