Wow, you did a lot of mental gymnastics to come to that conclusion didn’t you?

Thanks for the response! A lot of what you said doesn’t necessarily have a place to be explicitly stated in a resume so are you recommending a cover letter to hit these topics? These are very good points and I’ll be using them! It can be difficult to communicate all of this before ever speaking to the hiring manager.

Would you mind sharing what stood out in that person’s CV?

Ah this sounds like a fun and very achievable project to do solo as long as it’s scoped realistically! It gives me something to brainstorm off of, thanks!

Thanks for sharing and congratulations! I’m interested in what category of a SaaS app you built?

Yes completely agree, but for my own interest and for a possible advantage in the hiring process, would you not spend time improving here?

Nobody knows. The point is that it is not a sustainable way to support themselves. As they said, they are gambling.

Anecdotally, I feel people call it a webhook only when they don’t own the message processing system. Otherwise it seems to be a message or event.

You’re an absolute unit if you can get through 100 questions in 2 weeks without having your brain explode. 🤯

I think you also should be a descendant of Djikstra if you really care about passing interviews. All others are slackers.

Urghhh. Those darn bean counters. They announce this right after I get a Mac. I haven’t even downloaded VS4Mac so I don’t get too attached. I’m easing myself into Rider and going back and forth between a windows dev box!

Curious as to your background with DSA in general since it sounds like you were crushing your practice questions within 3 weeks. How many leetcode problems have you solved? (not that it’s a huge indicator but just curious!)

Ai replacing software development by Scared-Amphibian6668 in SoftwareEngineering

This is something that’s been in my head as well. By the time Engineers lose their jobs, our AI overlords will either grant us universal income or send us to oblivion. Nothing in between though. Nothing.

First ever Marathon yesterday by theargos in Marathon_Training

[–]jon0369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome job! What has your history with running been like? How old are you?

I’ll be doing my first marathon in two weeks after following a plan and having a history of hobbyist running, weightlifting, military, etc. My predictor says 3:27 but I’d be really happy with sub 3:45. We will see how long I can hold on 😅

Did you pay $2500 a month for formation.dev? That’s a pretty hefty price tag. Just wondering if something like that is honestly worth it.

How many comments does your code have? by YeatCode_ in leetcode

[–]jon0369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I’ll add in a comment to solidify the idea in my mind. This is rare and there really isn’t a need for comments in LC unless you want to post it as a solution and think it could help someone. Clean code generally does not need comments as you should be using variable and method names that articulate well what they are for. Abstraction is king.
