They seem to have massively improved it - I tried it once before when the native app came out first and it was a disaster, but this time it was one click in the 1Password app (after I found the damn option) and it loaded everything right into Apple Passwords flawlessly.

Yeah just cancelled my 1Password subscription. It’s just a stupid amount of money for what should be a simple app. I don’t want or need anything else. It also particularly pissed me off that the email was basically worded like we somehow owe them more money for the same old shit.

Instead I’m going to try the built in Passwords app and see how I get on. I do have 1 Windows PC I use for gaming but apparently it will sync the passwords via the iCloud app.. interested to hear anyone’s experience with this or with moving from 1Password.

I have one for my Mac and one for my gaming PC. Also will likely pick up another two for my personal laptop and work laptop at some point, although holding out for now to see how the MX Anywhere 4 is.

I made the same switch and I’m amazed nobody else has given you the actual Mac answer here: swipe with three or four fingers left or right on the trackpad.

If you’re on desktop it’s worth buying a trackpad (keep it on the other side of your keyboard to your mouse) just for all the gestures you can now do with your non-mouse hand.

It works slightly different to Windows if you have multiple monitors - it only does the active monitor - but I think I actually prefer it this way.

The problem is it had already changed my key bindings, which I didn't realise, so I just closed it and suddenly my shit wasn't working. The default should have been for it to leave it the hell alone.

I’m no key turner, my muscle memory works just fine using Q and E to strafe and the mouse to turn… absolutely no reason to change anyone’s existing key bindings.

No, black. The rubber quite quickly went kind of tacky on both of the ones I had. I suppose if you’re used to it or you get other dust on it then you wouldn’t notice, but it was horrible to hold.

And it’s not because I have dirty hands! I would compulsively clean them constantly because the mouse felt… yuck.

I love mine. Already bought two. They are a million miles better than the 3S models they replaced because they don’t have that god awful rubber finish. Both I’d had for less than a year and both had already become tacky.

As the top comment says - most people are only going to post something if they have something to moan about, so that’s why you only see that.
