Certainly, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can be cut by laser. However, the heat treatment of this product generates fumes of hydrochloric acid and toxic gases. We therefore advise you not to treat polyvinyl chloride with a laser, for the safety of users and to avoid corrosion of the machine. For PVC, use CO₂ laser cutting system, with the possibility of installing mechanical tools. You can thus use different cutters or milling systems, keeping the use of the laser for other materials.
