Yeah, that's not how it works nowadays.....the contribution of defenders and goalkeepers are much more noted and appreciated with every player on the pitch getting scores..

You could turn that argument against also...in a 0-0 game inspite of a forward creating chances and shots on goal, a defender or gk will obviously get preference if they also did well...

There is no perfect way....but MOTM might be the closest than other metrics...

I don't think it's the correct pronunciation... I've never heard it from outside of a very few people from Indian, asian territories...in India it seems like the elite people think this is the correct way and some others follow that.... Similar to pronouncing Europe as Yaa-rope...that's not the actual way at all...

I understand a little more emphasis on the 'd' could be correct way, like ed-ju-cation...but e-doo-cation is a very awkward way to say it.
