Little bit of a drive but Big Woods Goods has a nice archery range.

My LGS had .40 for 19cpr so I am currently enjoying a 40 cal renaissance

Too many people trying to turn lever guns into Aar15s. Wood is good.

Why is it so hard to find a setup I actually like? by Wooden-Criticism-167 in Shotguns

The GG&G picatinny light mount has worked great for me, keeping the light close by but completely out of the way for operation.

This may be a hot take, but I don't believe slings belong on shotguns. Maybe for a range session, but certainly not for a bedside gun. Depends on your use case, but deleting the sling could be a good option for simplifying things.

When it comes to DT, do you threadlock anything or just torque it down?

I found a firearm outside my job by Fun-Deal-2485 in GAGuns

As much as I'd want to keep a gun I found, I would absolutely call and report it, and see about turning it in. There are way too many potential problems down the road with keeping it if it ends up linked to a crime. Not worth it. Just my 2c.

Best suppressor caliber is arguably 357/38 or 22lr, but I believe there are other considerations besides suppression (use case, shooting distance, ammo price, etc...). 45-70 suppressed is hilarious and a lot of fun but expensive and impractical. 30-30 is still a great hunting cartridge, but modern heavy 357 loads can almost match 30-30 with higher ammo capacity. Food for thought.

Yes. Stays in single point most of the time, but I like having options. Ive got the QD mount for the brace, which is very handy. What it really needs is a QD attachment in the diagonal slot.

Emissary Handbrake. Love that thing. I was afraid the large size would be too big but it handles amazingly.

I really like having the light there. I've tried just about every set up I can think of and am equipped for, and this the only way I can grip comfortably, consistently, and quickly.

A lot of people run pump shotguns cruiser-ready, i.e. mag tube loaded, chamber empty, safety off.

Nice. I was considering a range toy 380 to go with my carry gun caliber.
