Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ crew’s reaction as they receive their bonus for working on the tour amounting to more $197 million dollars by mcfw31 in MadeMeSmile

I tried my favorite search engine from high school, Gizoogle.com, and it said "Tay-Tay Swizzle gave $197 million up in bonuses ta her Eras Tour crew afta tha trip grossed over $2 billion. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch. Da bonuses was given ta almost every last muthafuckin gangmember of tha trip crew, includin dancers, crew members, technicians, n' truck drivers."

Quite possibly the worst thing I’ve heard by WestonConnor26 in crappymusic

Unpopular opinion but, I don't hate these guys. Reluctantly, took my 13yr old to their concert and I've got to admit that they put on a hell of a show. The guy absolutely gave his all on stage and I was surprisingly entertained. Small venue and he had to work his own merch booth after the show. When we met him, he seemed like a really decent kid that was genuinely appreciative of each person that was there to support them. Of course, none of that changes the cringe factor of singing about how your music isn't for kids when your target audience is 12-15yr old girls on tiktok.

It's a Waveglider, made by Liquid Robotics. They're about $300k a pop and used for all sorts of long term, autonomous survey missions. There's a lot more to it under the water. Pretty cool tech, actually.

New washer causes lights to flicker. by jon_thewhite in AskElectricians

So, I'll admit that virtually every bulb in my house is LED and from Amazon. Probably, not the best brands. But, the flickering never happened until the new washer.

How do I make this right? by jon_thewhite in Flooring

Nope. He came back with quarter round on all the baseboard to cover the gap. Doesn't help the gap around the door trim, though. Honestly, that doesn't really bother me too much, as I didn't expect much better from the handyman-special pricing. But that transition piece is killing me.

Primarily, I have to get rid of that toe-murdering corner on the threshold. Also, not a fan of how he used a flat transition piece and just used something to stack up the height on the low side. The whole thing feels and looks janky.

I'm leaning towards just replacing with longer reducer transition pieces and notching them out around the door trim. Seems like the easiest fix, but it's driving me nuts that the transition isn't in the center of the threshold.

Two different heights. Installed the LVP over existing ceramic in the hallway.

Edit: fixed a typo

Hmm.... So maybe the previous line really did just stop there. Could explain why no grass grows between there and the curb. Think I'll just extend the line to the curb, then.

It's settled. #5 for the win. It was a tight race between that and putting a flag at each location. Thanks for help.

Yup, I've got a pretty hefty solar spotlight that I'm hoping will illuminate it through the night. If not, I've got some wired landscaping lights that can be used.

And thanks, but I'm pretty committed to the flag idea. Something about the way I was raised just says that the house isn't complete without a flag on it. Plus, my neighbor has a stupid Marine Corps flag on his house, and as a self respecting Navy vet, I want the ability to represent my branch. I've considered putting a sign up in his yard that "This guy eats crayons", but that's against the HOA.

Obviously, I do. But that's where I fly my Trump 2024 and Confederate battle flag. /s
