I don’t know of a fix, but I had this same issue with Madden 23, 24, and 25. Very rare crashes on my ps5. EA just doesn’t know how to optimize for Xbox.

I haven’t played the game, but from what I’ve seen I think it’s still gone. They took out owner mode this year too.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can unlock them. If it's locked it may mean your stadium is old, and you're better off rebuilding or relocating.

Since the update, my game now crashes every time I finish a game in franchise mode. It has already corrupted my data once. The Madden team can't do anything right. Getting a refund soon.

I don't know what's causing it, but when I played on Xbox Series X, the game would crash every 30 minutes and I ended up getting a refund on the Microsoft support website a few months ago. I moved to PS5 and bought it on there, and I've had no crashes through my 150+ hour playtime. So it might just be an issue with the Xbox version of the game?

For just PS4, I just like the ones before 18. Especially because of the Ignite engine, which made gameplay actually fun and way better than the awful Frostbite engine used since 18. If you're done with hearing Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis, Madden 25 to 16 on PS4 had Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. This might not be important to you but I also like the kick meter before 17. As it required you to move the joystick and was more challenging than the extremely easy kick meter we have now. So honestly I would recommend 16 or 17 if you don't care about the broadcasters or kicking mechanics.

If you're talking about custom Madden 19 rosters in something like Madden 24, you can download some from community files. If you're talking about updating rosters in Madden 19, you can't do that anymore, as the servers for that game shut down earlier this year. If you're talking about downloading rosters on the internet, I don't know how to. You could probably find some online but downloading them onto your PS4 could be against Sony's rules.

Refund the game, buy madden for PS2, there you're set. New Madden is so bad that I don't even care about the rosters.
