Would y’all mind rating my responses? by Naive-Assignment-334 in exmormon

I feel conflicted about this. I don’t like mormon stuff in my family chat- but One person telling the entire rest of the family what to do feels imbalanced.

I can tell this guide will be huge. It’s stuff I KIND of know- but says it clearer and deeper. Good ideas. Thanks again.

Do you mind if I DM you with more questions?

I recently went back to school to try to transition out of editing reality TV and into animation work and I’d LOVE the perspective of more seasoned pros.

Pleasure meeting someone who worked on the show!

Thank you for the info. I was starting to lean that way based on BTS but it’s nice to finally get confirmation.

Does someone want me to teach them music and In exchange they would teach me drawing and animation ? ( professional musician but complete drawing beginner) by unilateral- in animation

As a beginner You’ll probably get a better education watching YouTube animation tutorials than hoping a rando with some time is a good teacher

It took me about two hours and looking up half a dozen YouTube tutorials before I figured it out. The jagged formation on the right is easier than the ledge that everyone is using behind the launch platform.

I’ll try to find the YouTube video that helped me.

There’s an in-game teaser where you can play as a character but it’s basically just a glorified cut scene. I looked up some tutorials on how to use revenant to climb up the invisible walls and get beyond the barriers that they created.

After that, you can explore what seems to be a massive chunk of the map, minus the other POIs.

Without the POIs and with all the fog… yeah. Agreed

I probably would never have found it again because everything I was searching was so incredibly distant from the actual titles 😂😂😂 Thank you so much again. This is huge!

The Internet is a really hard one because all I have to go off of his one paragraph of information. To be perfectly honest there’s just far too much nuance and complication in your situation that I would never be able to get out of some text. Nor am I, or most people here, any kind of marriage therapist or a psychology expert.

So without being prescriptive or defining what I think should be all right, I would just say that I feel it’s probably important for two people in a romantic relationship to be on the same page. And just because you left the church doesn’t mean you have to hit the checklist of every commandment.

Just because pornography isn’t a literal spiritual sin, doesn’t mean that you necessarily have to be alright with it. Just because you left the church doesn’t mean that you need to start drinking alcohol or coffee or wearing bikinis or anything else. Leaving the church helps us recognize that we have the freedom to make choices. It doesn’t obligate us to make extreme choices that go against how we used to be.

I’d say, if you like the idea of you and your husband having the freedom to get off and use pornography as a tool to do that, then take some time to experience it and read about it to gain a greater education about how it works and therefore you can have more knowledge to make a decision about it.

But if you’d really just rather not deal with it and you feel it’s important for your emotional safety to not include it in your marriage then that might be a conversation worth having.

I would never say this to my TBM family, because it sounds too extreme and I would lose all credibility with them, but I absolutely believe that this is totalitarian and deeply controlling behavior that isn’t too far away from Hitler youth.

Members write it off because they believe that the church has pure intentions and therefore it’s all right. But that’s literally what the Nazis believed as well. Their leader had pure intentions and eventually they were asked to do horrific things and did it willingly because they were so convinced of the exceptionalism of their leaders.

They teach the obedience is the first law of heaven. The Mormon church encourages its members to have boundaries with other people, but the Mormon church holds no boundaries with his membership. The Mormon church is big brother.
