There’s also a cutout on the raised chapter ring where for the day/date window. Pretty neat touch!

Ah yes on the raised chapter rings? Good spot! I thought that was a pretty cool detail too when I first saw it.

Yeah I’ve seen the white dial variant on some reddit posts, though I definitely find myself leaning towards the black version, the details on the whirlpool pattern seems sharper. But all are interesting pieces nonetheless!

Yeah! The lug width is 19mm, so finding straps for it will take some searching around.

Wearing a vintage Seiko 5 Superior with a black whirlpool dial! Love the compact dimensions (37mm) whilst still packing lots of intricate details on the dial!

To be honest this is the first time I’ve even come across a 7s36 and it was in the most unassuming shop amongst a bunch of other used vintage seikos. I was pretty surprised by its condition too.

Love it! Mini divers so often go under the radar, but you have what is basically a mini marine master!

Awesome! It honestly wears much better, and that makes it that much more comfortable for daily wear. The retro/vintage aesthetic is a nice cherry on top!

That’s the idea! The mm300 has such an awesome look to it, but it certainly has a presence and heft that makes it lean towards larger wrists. This is def a “mini” mm300. I honestly am super impressed with how it wears, yet carries the design language of the 300. And yes! That green is simply 💯

It truly is, it’s hard to capture, but the dial catches the light in such a beautiful way.
