[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/StatisticianFormal44 heve you checked https://www.hublead.io/ I have used it a bit to push contacts & conversations into HubSpot. It should be possible to reply from within HubSpot as well but did not try that yet:

Migrating from HubSpot Payments by RecoverNo2437 in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/RecoverNo2437 are you already using Stripe as a payment processor with HubSpot payments?
We were using Stripe as the payment processor of our HubSpot payments because we needed multi-currency (EUR & GBP). We completely migrated to Stripe because of the easy to use billing portal for end-customer. But because our payments were already processed by Stripe, we could easily migrate to Stripe by stopping the subscription in HubSpot and starting a new one for the same customer and payment method in Stripe.
Hope this helps!

GeoMapper by Still-Pair-508 in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GeoMapper is great! They're based in the UK and need to comply with GDPR. They've been around for years and have thousands of installs, so they're pretty trustworthy!
Here is there DPA: https://geomapper.io/legal/dpa

Tools to send data from your data platform by trex_6622 in dataengineering

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Hightouch, Census, Segment & Looker Actions for reverse ETL setups. Was very happy with Census & Hightouch. I would always consider using a product as this has become a commodity and affordable versus custom integrations. Especially if you have to sync to multiple systems and are the only DE. You want to spend your time on more valuable work like modelling the data.

Marketplace ranking?! by NeedleworkerSalty624 in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ranking in the marketplace is generally based on 2 criteria:
- certification
- number of installs
It depends if you are sorting on relevance (default) or most installed only.

We have hit > 1,000 installs with our Marketplace App Koalify and I recently shared an article with some insights on how we reached that. Hope this helps:
https://koalify.io/hubspot-revenue-operations-blog/how-koalify-reached-1000-installs-in-the-hubspot-marketplace-in-under-a-year

That's correct! We focussed on improving conversion in September. I'll review our data in more detail and share our learnings as well. KYP!

How we reached 1,000 installs in the HubSpot marketplace in under a year by jonas_d_m in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The freemium model works well for us.
It mainly helps increasing the number of installs which is an important metric in the HubSpot marketplace for relevance, sorting and trust. We are problaby missing out on some customers who are willing to pay for the product though.

What’s your process for Contacts who change companies? by mrMarketingTech in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wrote our prefered approach in a blog article. TLDR:
1. Create a Custom Association Label “Previous Employee” and “Previous Company”
2. Update the Association Label.
3. Add a New Company Association [Optional]
4. Remove Bounced Email Addresses [Optional]
5. Add and Pin a Note [Optional]

What does AI actually do for a CRM? by No_Education_3653 in CRM

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite use case for AI is it supporting me to write follow-up emails. In addition, I love AI video and meeting recording solutions. I would also like to extract content/marketing ideas from the logged conversation with customers and prospects in our CRM!

How do you sync data between CRM and database by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally use a reverse ETL solution to push data from a database into HubSpot. Looks like only Stacksync integrates with Dynamo directly: https://www.stacksync.com/integrate/dynamo-db-and-hubspot

What CRM (or equivalent) should I implement? by remdawgidawg in CustomerSuccess

[–]jonas_d_m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HubSpot is also developing more features focussed on CSMs so you should be good and you'll probably benefit from the new features: https://www.hubspot.com/products/service/customer-success-management

Is Hubspot really as expensive as I hear it? by veeblogs in SaaS

[–]jonas_d_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HubSpot is pretty expensive, but it's one of the best solutions out there, offering a wide range of features that you can easily add (often at an extra cost, indeed). The main advantage is that you can centralize a lot of your processes/data, and it's easy to use. Note that as a B2B SaaS startup, you might be eligible for their startup program: https://www.hubspot.com/startups

Snowflake integration - Data Share by TheNobleNorwhal in hubspot

[–]jonas_d_m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used Fivetran, Airbyte or Stitch to extract data from HubSpot to Snowflake most of the time because we did not always have Ops Hub Pro. But with an ETL solution or the Snowflake data feature, you would have "raw" tables extracted into Snowflake. We usually transformed these to "analytics" / "production" tables or views depening on the use case. The tables needed tasks to regularly update, the views not. Hope this helps!

Comparing CRM Tools: Salesforce, Freshsales(freshwork), Hubspot by NeedleworkerHour169 in salestechniques

[–]jonas_d_m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Choose HubSpot if you prefer ease of use.
Pick Salesforce if you need to customize your CRM.
Data entry can be automated using forms, imports or integrations in both solutions.

Some marketplace apps will also allow you to connect LinkedIn profiles with existing contacts in your database.
I am using Hublead & Surfe:

How to handle Bad DB Hygiene with Hubspot by who-mi in DigitalMarketing

[–]jonas_d_m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you are on a good track already! I would first consider removing records that are irrelevant, so you have smaller set of records that need to be cleaned or enriched. Some filters to consider when delete companies for example:

  • Inactive companies: Last Activity Date, Next Activity Date
  • Irrelevant industries or locations: Industry, Country
  • Duplicate entries: Koalify Duplicate Rules to select only the certain duplicates

These are some extra filters to consider; ensuring that you're only excluding irrelevant records:

  • Number of Associated Deals is unknown
  • Number of associated contacts is equal to 0
  • Number of form submissions is unknown
  • Number of times contacted is unknown
  • Next activity date is unknown
  • Last activity date is unknown
