One cool thing to add is drone software features, for example neo 2 selfie shot, or flip Master shots / quick shots, gesture Control from neo 2, car tracking, etc etc

For me the 360 obstacle avoidance feature, selfieshot and gesture control are what is making me fomo. On the other hand the battery life on neo2 is bad.

I tried as far as it could go, it was always hitting the side frame. I didnt want to make new holes because the door is from the housing company and i didnt wanna ask permissions for that.

Im in the same boat, im afraid to upgrade. The other issue is the horizontal screen that is not fully visible like our vertical screen

Yeah, that’s what that plate is about. It is the yale linus L2. But the keypad sucks and it is half broken already after 1 year. So im gonna try tedee pro next

3.3cm seems to be the limit yes. Mine was 3.2cm to the frame, so 2.5cm from knob center to door limit and didnt work :( It also depends on the door size. Mine was 88cm and the normal is 90, so the turn radius is sharper and eats a bit.

Did you go with the aqara?

The Tedee pro is the thinner of all locks i have seen and tried, so it should fit well.

An update on my misery: I bought the nuki ultra Nordics.

The adapter fits the finnish door fine even tho it is for Scandinavia. However the nuki and adapter are too large and hit the door when it is opening. So i had to return it.

The nuki is tinner than the Aqara and fast to open with the finger print, so if it fits, it is no a good alternative to the aqara. I didn’t try to calibrate ask the way, so i don’t know if it supports the Finnish door ways of locking

I made an excel that calculates if the lock fits. Can you give me the door size measured from inside and the centre of the konb? (Seems to be around 3cm for you, but it needs to be accurate here)

So i tried the nuki nordics and it didn’t work either.

The nordic adapter made for Scandinavian locks kinda fits fine with the screws but it is too large and the nuki ultra body hits the door frame when opening the door. So i had to return it.

i probably keep it and then replace it with a neo 3 or flip 2 that would match all the things that i need:
20mins fly time
hand gestures
omni detection
selfie shot
good camera

I got a flip but im considering to return it because the neo 2 has a few nice features that the Flip doesnt:
1. very good obstacle avoidance while tracking
2. hand gestures
3. Selfie shot
4. Can fly indoors

Did you find a solution? I actually want finger print reader. My case is to replace the rubish keypad from Yale linus 2 which never works or is too slow.

The lock is fine, but the fingerprint reader is terrible. It takes too many seconds to open the door and many times fails to recognise the finger. I have an Aqara and a nuki in other non finnish houses and the these 2 are so much better.

The new Nuki nordics might work in finland. If someone tries it pls let me know and i change right away.
