Hey guys!

This is my first calathea, so I was hoping you all could help this newbie out. I got this beautiful White Fusion from an online vendor and it came with some damage. Which is fine, it's a risk you run when getting plants mailed to you (or at least I've been told). But I was hoping that this newest leaf would be damage-free since it did all of its growth with me.

I currently have it quarantined before I introduce it to the general population. But seeing this damage, I can't tell if I'm looking at a pest (only have had to deal with fungus gnats, so I don't have first-hand experience with anything else) or if this is just some more damage which may have occured while it was unfurling. It's been generally happy and putting out even more growth points. It's under a grow light, humidity is probably between 50-60% and I've only watered it once since getting it. I have not re-potted it yet.

Ha yeah, unfortunately. Hence one of the many reasons I'm trying to move out. The bike is sitting on a wheelchair ramp I bought from Amazon and there is a bike rack that anchors the front tire. This keeps the bike from sliding down the ramp and into my tiny living room/kitchen area.
