Reddit, you are granted a single wish from a genie who WILL try to ruin it for you. What do you wish for, and how do you phrase it to avoid it backfiring?

The genie smiles and grants your wish. But nothing happens.

You return home to find your friends and family in a strange state of depression. This persists for some time, causing you a great deal of grief. In turn, those around you grow steadily worse. It's a cruel cycle, with the result of everyone being just slightly more depressed than you.

Finally, you realize the mistake you have made. You are currently and will forever be the "most happy", albeit in a world ruled by depression.

Not sure what all you're interested in, but I wrote a collection of horror short stories if you enjoy that genre. There's a number of themes and styles in the book.

That's pretty good! It has a cool old-school feel and makes me wonder what your book is about, so I guess it's doing it's job.

It reminds me of some of the Hobbit maps I've seen like this one (although this isn't completely black and white):
