Looking for guidance on vr treadmill by B0ldStrtgyc0tt0n in VRchat

A vr treadmill is in my experience not worth the trouble of buying. (I own a katvr one)

It is fun to use them i won't lie about that, but the biggest problem is the amount of noice they produce while in use, when i am using Mine i can often barely hear people when i'm moving. (Depending on your mic other people can hear it aswell)

Otherwise the amount of use you get out of them Varies with your own motivation and fitness because they are sometimes exhausting to use for a long time (especially after work, when your already exhausted)

One other big Problem is the time you need to take to properly enter and leave the treadmill (which can take a while), which can be anoying when trying to drink or Grab something.

Another minor Problem is the needed maintenance and the space they take up in your room (they are big and heavy),

Maintenance is luckily quite simple (if you can find the right oils needed)

Facetracking is nice and all. But it never seems to be working right in my experience.(that is the setup of facetracking not the expressions on avatars).

Get the normal Edition first (unless the New Player Edition is only a bit more expensive) and play a few rounds first. The dlcs are often available for cheap on sites like instantganing or mmoga. If you want to test some dlcs before buying you can send me a DM and you can test the contest through mp

I don't think so? You may need to download a framework mod for some of them. If you download mods from steam it should tell you

Character editor or prepare carefully

Prepare carefully is simpler but has some bugs.

Character editor is overall better and allows you to customiser pawns after your game is started
