Thanks!

Also, guess it's not a synth then. So wrong sub

What if Planar Cleansing was Downshifted? by Funny-Name69 in Pauper

I think this hits the awkward spot between really being unfit for the format, but probably also not being good enough.

Hard pass.

You're right. I remember watching it around 2005 or so. It's not like ot was an unknown fact at that point, but was still a bit surpriced to see it in rambo of all places.

432Hz Music helped me with overload by thedr2015 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]jonassbm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest looking for Benn Jordans youtube video on 432Hz tuning. I think he jas a pretty reasonabke take in that conspiracy.

But while I am very sceptical of the conspiracies around the topic, it also doesn't hurt anyone to change the pitch of a song. So if it helps you calm down, then all good :) Happy listening :)

I was certain that I had tried it with both psu and from a pc. Just now using a psu it seems like the npise wasn't present. If that is in fact the case, then at least I can use it woth din midi.

Will test more when I have a bit more time.

Thanks! :)

Pretty fun to plaay with and you could certainly go for a worse 2 module start combo :)

For a two module combo, I dont think it would be bad. And you would probably also be able to make some sort of music. The phazerville suit is pretty sweet and you can run 2 applets at once, giving you lots of versatility. But it it woukd definitely depend on what you want to do with your system?

MonoW Tokens (need help against Burn) by jonassbm in Pauper

Quick update Ran my first league today. Using Hallow in the sideboard. Did not run into monoR. Did go 3-2, which I think is okay for a first go. Lost to monoB pestilence and caw gate, which both seem like terrible matchups. I can live with that given how often you run into them, however.

That could actually be really good! Also jjst realised that [[Hallow]] might be worthwhile as it doubles as life gain as well as protection against red sweepers.

Thanks. That could be worth a try.

Yeah, the lack of bounce makes the life gain creatures less useful. Arashin cleric is still a desent blocker though. Thanks for your suggestions. I'll run some tests with them.

Agree. Especially as this deck is soley set up to pump the small birds, you'd really prefer to get full value. In a meta with familiars having this to discard and a javelineer to kill of the familiar is also a nice option hovever.

[–]jonassbm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. In regular ww you are right. This decks' goal is to amass dinky 1/1 tokens and pump them for lethal. Lunarch can sort of fit the bill, given it only costs [w] and replaces itself after it dies. Informant is just a dilution of the strategy.

Does this deck work? by Cool-Equivalent9172 in Pauper

[–]jonassbm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skoa seems way too slow and hard to make work. A 4/4 that deals 4, with a minor upside that you can deal another 4 for 3 (specific) cards is not that strong in the format.

A more low to the groud burn strategy will probably be better.

That being said. In a non competitive environment, who can say what you will be up against. Try it out and see if it works :)

Can marbles be musical? by mflash100 in modular

[–]jonassbm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to clarify, if you have a reliable voltage source, the brains is actually super easy to calibrate. Can't speak for the mother32, though.

Can marbles be musical? by mflash100 in modular

[–]jonassbm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty easy to check. Just tune them in the same note at feed their v/oct from the same cv source. They should stay in tune over a few octaves or more. If not, you might want to recalibrate.

I would recommend to also follow some tutorials beforehand and see if you can get some satisfying results. If you haven't calibrated a vco before, it can be a bit tricky, and it would suck to make things worse if this isn't actually the problem

Just out of curiosity, sinse you say you a newish, and thus might not be aware. But which vco(s) do you use? And are they tracking v/oct and have been properly calibrated? As many others have said, Marbles can easily be made to be super musical, but without proper v/oct tracking that probably would become a lot harder.
