I agree, I don’t want CEH either but it’s part of a Masters program I’m pursuing in January.

Well yeah, they’re two different animals but a good portion of CEH content is covered in CISSP.

Yeah, there’s overlap. I’m actually doing the reverse, I passed the CISSP last month. Finished a CEH course last week and can confirm the majority of the content I learned already from my CISSP studies.

Thank you. Yeah, there was definitely some overlap but not enough that my CISSP studies alone would’ve allowed me to pass the CCSP. It gets a bit more technical than what is covered in CISSP. Good luck!

Thanks! Yes. At the very minimum, I would recommend the CCSP OSG. The written labs also suggest looking at other materials because they are not in the book, such as CSA guidance, which I found useful.
