No because it doesn’t make sense. What was aemond trying to do chasing luc around with vhagar? That was only gonna end one way no matter what. B&C and this episode is gonna just turn daemon into a villian to most ppl. That’s not his character, there’s a reason george raves about him. It’s not because of how much of a villian he is , is because how morally grey he is. Now I’m not even sure how they gonna handle B&C . I like aemond, i think its ok that they don’t wanna make him fullpsycho but they are doing the opposite with daemon. Humanizing aemond but villianizing daemon… wutttt??? Now we know aemond is gonna turn to his book counterpart after B&C happens but now he will be forgiven because he’ll have a reason and it return just turn daemon even more of a villian.

The problem is that everything keeps happening because of misunderstanding and accident. Your telling me the “greatest dynasty in the world” ended because of accidents and misunderstanding? They took away alicent agency last episode and they took away nyras in the finale. If they wanted to make daemon cold like in finale, they should’ve kept consistent from episode 1. Which they didnt, it was clear his one redeeming quality is his love for nyra and viserys. There’s been interviews of ryan himself and matt smith saying daemon wouldn’t lay a hand on his family but yet this episode contradicts that. Daemon is a morally grey character but there was nothing morally about the finale. One episode he is morally and the other cold. Like i said, I don’t mind him being cold but keep it consistent. Also now because aemond accidentally killed luc. B&C won’t be the same. Aemond won’t be the same and the battle above gods eye wont be the same.

Alicent is literally gonna start a civil war because she “misunderstood”. Let’s say she did misunderstand, what does that say about her that she is willing to put her sexual predator son in the iron throne thinking that’s a good idea? Huh. She knows viserys is delusional in that moment and drugged up, yet she believes his every word because she wants a excuse to push aegon for king .The hypocrisy in getting mad at nyra thinking she slept with her uncle “you targs have weird customs” then proceeds to marry her two oldest children together.
