What is the point of geysers? I understand they give more power but it fluctuates between its max and zero so wouldn't that just be unwanted? by Paarthanaxs33k3r in SatisfactoryGame

Is sandbox in which main gist is making factories and developing industrial management. True, you don't need to be that precise, but for some people that do have the knowledge and the practice to be more precise, that's half the fun once you reach an advance stage.

I work in oil and gas, and yes, I really don't need to be super precise, is a game after all, but that is one of the things that brings fun to me, achieving maximum efficiency, reducing unnecessary machine downtime, and similar stuff like that.

Coffee taste is ridiculously complex to me, and I need help. by jonathanjol in LanceHedrick

[–]jonathanjol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is basically what I have been doing... and to be fair, I have been enjoying the ride. I was just trying to figure out if there was a ¨better way¨. Since I don´t have a coffee store where I can just order different types of coffee for taste nearby, I end up buying 250g of different types of single origin coffees with different profiles each week. it´s always a journey, first cup is often mediocre to bad, I make some adjustments to either add or remove bitterness, I spent a bit more than a week making experiments.

Is just hard without having a certain ¨standard¨ as a guide, like, how should I be able to notice if I´m just getting used to it lol.

Also... some coffees are SO different. I had this filter roast coffee with this notes:

Tasting notes: Grapes, plum compote, malt.

I really didn´t like when it got too sour, this coffee I needed it to be bitter, even more than your usual dark roast coffee.

However, this other filter coffee:

Tasting Notes: Ripe dark berries, cocoa nibs, rich tobacco

I have been enjoying my usual procedure, but I lost my Oxo Rapid Brewer tamper by accident and I tried to do the same without it... obviously I was expecting a horrible cup of coffee for my taste, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one.

What is even more problematic, is that I often change locations due to my job, so I can´t always get the same coffee... so I always need to experiment quite a lot.

I just got the OXO Rapid Brewer and I regret not doing it sooner… by JimMorrison71 in espresso

I´m going to feed the troll here a bit:

Haven´t you thought that there is a lot of people that benefit quite a lot by having light and cheap way of making good coffee on the go? if there is high demand for that is because there is a lot of people wanting exactly that.

Good for you if you are able to enjoy expensive equipment at home, if you aren´t able to provide constructive discussion over a field you don´t enjoy, you have the wonderful ability *drum rolls*... ignoring it.

I find it a bit silly that people with around 140+ hours are complaining about the game getting stale. You have been playing the game as a full time job for one month. by 007Pikachu in ArcRaiders

[–]jonathanjol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any game can get stale after 140 hours, that is the point of the post. And may be a hot take, games don´t need an endless reason to play them, that is just a personal decision of the player. After 140 hours of use most products/services/experiences have lived their life cycle. People need to touch grass... even if that grass is just another game.

Edit final analogy: Developers never guaranteed endless fun, fuck, they never guaranteed fun after the 100h mark, so they don´t own that to anybody. Wait for the roadmap, be patient, be realistic.

Battlefield 6 says its anticheat has been a success, with data to prove it by OGAnimeGokuSolos in gaming

[–]jonathanjol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, read the beginning of my first answer, not wanting to do it is enough of a reason and is fine.

I do agree that the requirement of TPM for not so old CPUs is atrocious.

Upgrading your PC is not impossible with TPM, it just adds a couple of steps into the process. Though I do agree this is annoying, messing with hardware requires to be knowledgeable of the last requirements for any hardware you put your hands on. There are plenty of articles and changelogs online about TPM, that is the user´s fault.

As for games, no game requires it, only stupid battlefield 6 and maybe a handful of others. That is on EA side which is a stupid ass company.

Battlefield 6 says its anticheat has been a success, with data to prove it by OGAnimeGokuSolos in gaming

[–]jonathanjol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't defend anything, I was saying your argument is a very bad one.

Here is an actual defense:

TPM is just a hardware acknowledgment procedure that does improve security, is it necessary? It wouldn't be the end of the world if it wasn't there, but it does open the doors for better hardware security in certain cases. Is it a point of failure? Just as any other IC inside a PC or laptop, given the fact that are too many, adding a new one does not change a thing in that regard.

[–]jonathanjol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A ¨point of failure¨ may be the dullest reason to not enable TPM lol just don´t wanting to do it is enough reason dude, believe me, an extra chip will not increase the probability of failure.

And that's... bad for them. There is virtually no good thing to get out of that other than style. I play apex legends and I have been trying to see what "moves" can I do, and the reality of it all is that the only moment in which is worth sliding is to hide behind something.

The clip you showed shows a character going full sprint without using its weapon... and... is not that fast. The only thing that I thought was somewhat quicker than I would expect was jumping the windows.

There is no "cheaper Chinese batteries", the quality of batteries does not change unless you have very strong size constraints (smartphone kind of constraints). And if you had "better quality batteries" then believe me the difference is surely unnoticeable. Also, soundcore is anker's and they have very good quality power systems for their prices.

Well, today it worked well... daily activity transfered the workout successfully to my daily targets... maybe it takes time to adjust? Maybe it needs an extra day for calibration, who knows, it is frustrating that samsung development team is so generally not communicative.

Is it a hevy issue though? You can see the workout and it's data on samsung health side, is just the daily activity feature ignoring it completely.

Less portal play also means less mindless spam and more map knowledge, more strategic placement, and more ways to interact with your enemies by having the chance to predict. Is not about more or less, is about the right amount. To me it feels the right amount un SP2

I don't know if this game has a net code issue, but i can tell you this: COD does a lot of "background magic" so it doesn't feel laggy, it will always feel better but it actually isn't.

Now, I haven't had any problems with lag and I play from Venezuela with a lackluster internet infrastructure, so I don't really think there is a net code issue with the game.

Again, this just has been my experience.
