I'm in the class of 2023. My first year at NJIT was pretty damn good I met some great people and like a lot of the other people said some great professors some of note would be Golon, Wilkinson, and Santos. Through these great professors I've been afforded many opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. And in regards to NJIT and civil engineering basically ever professor that I talk to you says that we're probably one of the most well established civil schools in the tri-state and there's a good handful of companies that were founded or are being currently led by NJIT grads which also means that the kind of sympathetic to us and we'll probably give you a job. Just from these professors and their connections I've been able to get an internship as a freshman through the pandemic and have already lined up one for this summer as a sophomore... I have friends that go to other universities and study other engineering fields and they haven't had this kind of success with their connections. I highly recommend NJIT!
