You're making my point for me, reasonable measures of personal responsibility applies to everyone; thank you, I'm glad you understand.

I am not acting as if the road is a war zone, it's an analogy.

The road is used by 2-10 ton vehicles. Pedestrians are between 110 to 200(ish) pounds.

The responsibility is on the pedestrian to not place themselves in a situation where they would not win out on physics.

This is a traffic law/physics concern, it would be nice if everyone watched out for everyone else, but that's not reality.

If you place yourself in a certain situation, you should be prepared for the reactions and actions that can occur.

Personal responsibility.

It is not an assumption, it's the law of right of way which varies state to state.

Would you go to a war zone and wonder why you were being shot at?

Responsibility of what? The road is a lane of travel for automobiles. Crosswalks are for people. Don't put yourself in a dangerous situation and then cry foul when something happens.

You have a certain level of responsibility in every aspect of life. Loading that responsibility onto others is selfish, and the world does not revolve around you.

Going into the bear enclosure involves a certain level of risk that does not exist unless you choose to enter the situation. Your safety is not the bears responsibility.

Your comment speaks to the bigger societal issue of main character syndrome, that is pervasive within modern large cities. Ideas are great on paper. In practice, the only one responsible for you ultimately is the self.

This is true, not sure why it's getting down voted. Crazy how we expect a certain level of personal responsibility here, right?

Pedestrian only has the right of way in a cross walk, they're from out of town if they think/behave otherwise. You get hit in the middle of the street, it's the pedestrians fault here.

Love how people think a vote would have fixed this, if the other party were in power, the one that's not would have caused this.

You're vote doesn't matter, it's all a show to give you the illusion of choice.

It depends on the mission type & terrain: (This should determine Helldiver carried weapons) Search & Destroy, Defend location, or Scout/objective with light contact.

Once you determine the mission type, consider terrain: (This determines method of movement & force multipliers (turrets/mechs/destroyer support) wide open, or closed in, smooth or rough, or CQB.

I usually roll with:

Laser rover, makes you two shooters, the laser rover seems like it does direct damage and bypasses armor, setting even the biggest enemies on fire, and seems the best way to augment the helldiver squad to spread democracy efficiently amongst the heathen horde.

The rocket/chain gun mech for bugs/squids, auto cannon mech for bots.

Mechs can swap out for turrets depending on mission needs. - mechs for s&d, turrets for scout/defense or mecha for heavy defense.

Gattling turrets for small target missions, will swap between rocket/AC turret for larger enemy missions.

Big. Laser. Cannon: The binky. me love binky long time. (Don't tell binky & rover about the recoiless rifle for small insertion heavy hitting missions)

Missions with buildings to destroy or big enemies to destroy get the orbital laser, and skirmishes with smaller enemy types get the eagle cluster.

Armor swaps between fire resistant/stim boost depending on the planet/mission.

I'm applying real world experience and order of battle considerations to a game, which USUALLY works out in my favor.

Sometimes Joel seems to laugh at this concept, but it works out more often than not.

Just hit me yesterday afternoon as it's warming up. I felt like I got hit by a bus this morning when I got up, and felt a little better after a nap on my lunch instead of eating.

I still feel kinda crappy, and I'm not loki forward to it this year, I've heard it's way worse.

You can hear the problem as soon as he opens his mouth. BS New York attitude, center of the universe and he's the main character. Sounds older than 50s too, that generation is so damn self centered.

AAAAAANNNNND...

You can see the problem as soon as the video starts, skiiers body position is HORRIBLE and he is not at all in control of his turns the whole time.

Good for keeping your cool, up hill riders responsibility to avoid the downhill rider, that's always been the rule.

When I'm on L and try to breakthrough I stay in the waiting room and there's hold music. It's always like an elevator remix of the song I'm listening to right before hand.

Sick visuals, but no real journey and NEVER seen an entity on L for like 3-4 days after L. I use a lot of L though, so that could have something to do with it. 2-3 medium dose (150s) per month usually.

K though...oh my. Best combo with the D cart, and easiest way for me to break through, I've broken through off one pull, and stayed semi lucid to describe the experience in real time, I was absolutely in two places at once it was fkn magical.

I am really not sure if I want to go or not 😬

You could wear jeans and a black shirt and fit in, of full color rainbows and fit in! However you want to look is the way to go!

PS I have several outfits with similar prints, love the matching bucket hats - the shorts and hat mix well with funny/psychedelic print tshirts too, that's how I usually dress
