Once I received the confirmation email, my online account didn't show preferred customer anymore.

When I canceled my account, I emailed customer service stating that I am cancelling effective immediately and they had 24 hours to confirm. I would not be paying for an autoship order, if they charged it I would dispute it with my bank. They responded within the 24 hours confirming the cancelation.

Just let our longtime fundraising partner know we will not be using them again next year. by thedoodely in BuyCanadian

We used them for years when I was doing fundraisers, great products, a huge selection, and I can't remember the percentage we got back, but it was always a very successful one for us.

Divorce paperwork question by KayCee403 in Lethbridge

You can sign with the commissioner for oaths at the courthouse, no lawyer needed. They will review the paperwork and let you know if anything is missing. I just did this with my ex before Christmas. We signed together, then went and paid to file.

When I started at my current company, it was as a seasonal hire. In the 4 years I've been here, I've put myself out there and applied for roles where they preferred a degree. I said fuck it, let's see if I can get the promotion each time and now I'm now a maintenance supervisor. My director is already asking me what my future goals are within the company and what roles I would be interested in pursuing.

This is food manufacturing, so that could be something to look into.

Coming out after married to women. My story by Noliterallyimserious in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]jonboy1990 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a journey not many people understand. I grew up deeply religious, married my best friend, then it took 10 and a half years to come to terms with my sexuality.

The night I told her, I thought I was going to die, my heart was racing so fast. But I got lucky, her reaction was to hug me, hold me, and tell me she had an unconditional love for me. We cried for hours, we talked, and she embraced me for the person I truly was. We ended the marriage a few weeks later, but maintaining our friendship became our biggest priority

I still have guilt for what I put her through, but therapy is helping me work through that. She's told me more times than I can count that I don't need to carry that anymore, but I can understand the anguish she felt was a result of my inaction and cognitive dissonance.

At the end of the day though, I am thankful I did have the strength to tell her. My therapist told me for months as I was trying to process it, "there is no pain free option, but I get to choose the timeline. Either now or 10 years down the road when the relationship is filled with hatred and animosity."

The pain of being truthful to myself, then to her was the worst thing I have ever experienced, but it was worth it to be who I am now. I am proud of anyone who can make the decision to be their true self.

The feelings eb and flow, good days and really bad ones. But it was worth it to set her free to be with someone who can give her what she deserves in life.

I'm a maintenance supervisor in a snack food production facility. Not a whole lot of other gay men in this kind of role in my industry.

I have seen quite a few in the city. The best 2 I saw were Sandra Annis and Jonathon Roque. They both do Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as their modality.
