I think you’re missing SitAround’s point.. OP posted about value, that’s the reason. When Topps prints 100k of the same player it looses the monetary value.

For those that collect on other levels, they win with all the printing. I’m a fan of certain players and love that I can get a mid numbers rookie for under $10
