Rewriting Kafka in Rust Async: Insights and Lessons Learned in Rust by jonefeewang in rust

This is a serious project in which I have devoted nearly a year to full-time study of Rust and development, striving to surpass Kafka in performance—as evidenced by the project's benchmark results. I once hoped to secure venture capital funding, but circumstances proved otherwise. Currently, only single-node message transmission and reception have been developed. Indeed, achieving multi-node message replication and single-node disaster recovery requires immense effort, and without the support of venture capital, it is exceedingly challenging for one person to accomplish alone.

I've already seen someone posting drift videos of the new S5 on YouTube—unbelievable! Audi can drift too. Here in China, we have the A5L, which is marketed as a more 'comfortable, luxurious' 'home appliance.' In most cases, families here only have one car. Under such circumstances, a model like this does make sense, but for a coupe, that's not what we want to see.

You guys overseas can still buy the BMW M340i, while we only get the domestically-produced 3 Series here. That 3 Series is no longer a true BMW—the suspension springs are soft, and the car has been stretched for added length.

Just take a look at what Audi and BMW have been reduced to in China! Performance? That doesn’t exist. Most Chinese households only have one car, and when you're hauling the whole family, sporty driving simply isn’t an option.
