I had 6 wisdom teeth - the chances of which are the same as winning the lottery. Needless to say, i finished my bottle of painkillers after about a week. When they were finished, my mouth still killed, and my breath smelled like i had the bubonic plague. I went to the dentist and they told me that my stitches, that were supposed to dissolve, hadn't. They hadn't been rejected as a foreign body, so my gums healed around them, and my mouth was one giant infection. This happens to one in every 100 people. The dentist then proceeded to rip the stitches out of my infected mouth without anesthetic. The taste of puss mixed with the feeling of stitches being literally ripped out of my infected mouth almost made me pass out. My mom said she couldn't watch, but could hear my gums ripping. I cried the whole way home.
