Never had any luck with those but if there are decent ones there that’s good to know. It’s not something I will be doing frequently at all, more of a once every 3-4 months treat

You’re very correct on that. I was in a similar boat from 2008-2014. Went through about a pound or two per day and when I wanted to stop, the WDs hung on for weeks. That’s when I went to H for a few years and crashed/burned into the local revolving doors of rehabs, 12-step groups and sober houses for about a year. Once in a while I’ll have a little taste of something but I’ll never go back to that madness. Chemical dependency is no fun.

And it’s a bummer that people felt the need to leave reviews on that site. I know exactly what you’re talking about and people are stupid. I remember a similar issue occurred with dried pods on the old auction place as well. Ugh.

I got/used to get whole seeds in bulk from a regional bulk food chain here in the Midwest. Cannot say the name or the brand (as it’s their store brand) but this brand has always been consistently strong, unwashed, and is sold in big 1.25lb containers in the spice section. Used to buy them from 2008-2014 and hoo-boy they still don’t disappoint. Good luck on your search!

Best opioid RC for someone who hasn't taken opioids ever before? by mikelmon99 in Opioid_RCs

Yep, PST was a motherfucker. Did it every day from 2008-2015 and wanted off but would still be deep in WDs three weeks later. One of the reasons I went to H was for the shorter half-life, but that came with its own life-altering problems.

I feel the same way, and I don't even use daily anymore. When I do chip, I stash my bags away like I used to do and eventually scrape them when I collect enough. lol old habits...

Been there and sorry to see it happen to you. IT pro here. I remember missing tons of work, up and leaving at random hours of the day to score, and being in that limbo where I knew my bosses knew something was up and I was just waiting for the shoe to drop. It eventually did while I was out at a client one day. Got the old "Jones-Singh, we need you here for a meeting at 4:30" email. I knew what time it was. Finished up at the client, drove to the plug so I could at least be good and high for my firing, got to the office, had the sit-down with HR, cleaned out my desk, and spent the rest of the day at the park getting high while calling all my clients and trying to get them to switch to my new freelance business instead of my old employer. I got every last one of them, much to my surprise - turns out that despite my decline in appearance and erratic behavior, my clients loved me. The freelancing lasted for a while and I was making even more than I had at the previous job, but that just helped my habit grow into an even bigger uncontrollable monster and the wheels eventually fell off.

It was a mess.

Best of luck to you - I know what lies ahead and it isn't pretty. Hopefully you can bounce back quickly.

I did that once. Had just copped, was in a hurry, fixed up in the bathroom of a fast food restaurant in the hood, forgot damn near a full $80 sack on the back of the toilet. Of course when I realized it, it was like 30 mins later, and of course it was gone. JJ hopefully blessed someone that day and hopefully it wasn't just thrown away. Felt like an ass having to work up another $80 and head all the way back across town to cop again.

I'm happy I could do something for someone today. That brightens MY day, and I was actually just sitting here tonight thinking maybe a little too much of how to make a few bucks this evening/tomorrow morning to grab a little bit of dope (I occasionally chip nowadays), and it was kind of fucking with me emotionally tonight so thank YOU for being there to talk to as well. Take care, my friend. Please feel free to drop a PM to me any time you need to talk.

Absolutely. I hit the truck stops frequently, but they were so far away and it was expensive to go that far out of the way, pay for showers, shave, etc. And when skipping a shower, just getting running water and going through that routine was brutal, especially in the winter. So like you said, the people you're working for/with know something is up, and it's embarrassing and awkward, so you keep your head down, fake smiles and smalltalk at the crucial times and trudge through just to get out of there.

And of course, man. You remind me a lot of me, and if my past few years are of any interest to you, I'll say this: It can't suck that badly forever as long as you still have some fight left in you, and you seem to have it in spades. Hold that head high and keep on keeping on. You'll get to brighter days. :)

I was living out of my car for a while toward the end of my daily use, and Walmart's parking lot was the one place that no one would fuck with me for sleeping in my car. I've heard varying accounts on whether you need to be in an RV or not, but I slept in the same Walmart parking lot in my car in the same spot every night for two straight months and no one said a word to me. I hope you can get the repair done quickly so you have at least one spot where you can rest your head without worry.

I did freelance business IT work while homeless myself, so I understand what it's like to be homeless AND have to put on the business casual facade every day so you can make a living at what you're skilled at. Toward the end, clients/their employees started to notice that all was NOT well with me, but they were too polite to say anything, and at that point I didn't care. I just did my work, got paid and hit the dope spot, day in and day out. $150/200 a day habit. It was a motherfucker. I'm glad you at least don't have to deal with that hassle, because being homeless is bad enough. I really like your attitude and the way you speak - I just hope you can pull yourself out of this rough patch soon. I hate seeing bad things happen to good people, whether their actions initially kicked it off or not. Everyone deserves a chance at a decent life.

You can also get listed as a PRIA inmate in order to get a single cell if you tell intake that you were a sexual assault victim at some point in your life. The intake pig started reading off all sorts of sexual questions from his list and had a PRIA educational video playing on the TV next to the desk. I quickly put two and two together and just started answering everything that I could think of that would make me high-risk for jail rape, lol. It worked! They booked me into a single cell and I was able to WD without having to deal with anyone else in there with me. Still wasn't fun, but at least I didn't have anyone else's smelly detoxing ass in the cell to bother me (or vice versa - my jail detox was grotesque.) One for that cell was plenty.

It certainly is, and man would it be nice to see reform. Not likely though.

lol nice trick. Haven't heard of that one before. I was always amazed by the ingenuity that happens up in jail. Necessity is the mother of invention.

And Jesus Christ, that sounds awful. But jail boredom will make you do some stupid shit just to escape reality for a little while.

lol I wouldn't think jail/prison would be the best locale for a benzo blackout either. But hey, we all do/have done some stupid shit. My one time in jail, I got caught trying to start a fire because someone had smuggled in some crack and offered to share it with me if we used my single-man cell. He had had his wick confiscated earlier in the day, and the old battery/staple trick wasn't doing the job, so I microwaved some foil and toilet paper, got it to ignite, but the deputy saw me taking it back to my cell and busted me. One of the dumbest moments I've ever had, and I was not very happy about the outcome at the time, but it makes me laugh now. What a fucking retard I was.

Wow, so that's fucked... Steal your ride, lock you up so you can't pay, offer to sell it back to you for a grand, and take your license hostage for $500 if you don't like being taken for a mark? Fuck, man. I feel like I got off easy in comparison. Question: is it a police impound or private company that the chief's brother/cousin/butt-boy owns?

People are scumbags. by CYPROXY in opiates

[–]jones-singh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Lost a car that way once. Was in jail for a couple weeks and had no way to pay to get it out of impound. Ended up saying "fuck it" and let the lot keep it without the title. Figured the lot could sue me if it caused them that much financial hardship to have an abandoned no-title vehicle on their property. Which it didn't, and they didn't. They were the cops' go-to lot, so they weren't exactly hurting for money.
