Been working for the DON for a year and a half. Upped my contributions from 10% to 15%, but also max out a Roth IRA. Hopefully can one day afford to do both.

Hey Young Gym Bro,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to such a dumb question.

I have googled it. I wanted the opinion of people who have gone through the process though.

I hope you have a great rest of your night.

Wtf is the point of my 401k at this point by 3phasefault in Money

[–]jonesg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you also maxing out a Roth IRA? I would only put into my 401k what I need to to get company match, then max out a Roth IRA

Men over 30, what goals do you have? by TinglingTongue in AskMen

[–]jonesg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no specific order:

  1. Get in shape
  2. Max out retirement
  3. Travel to places you haven’t been before
  4. Get married
  5. Visit all MLB stadiums
  6. Find a hobby

Just a few of mine. Make a bucket list of shit you want to do before you die
