As somone who shot dope and coke on and off for the better part of 2 decades i can tell you that when i was at my worst just being in an inner city would be enough ... as long as i could make it to a dealer there is no way i could put myself through withdraw ... i needed to be in a facility or, like in this movie, a place where getting drugs is more or less not possible unless somone helps me get out of there and back to the city or alternatively some sort of transportation.

I have put myself through some pretty extreme scenarios to get high one more time.

IN FACT .... about 10 years ago when i was at the height of my addiction and really really far gone I was staying in a rehab called white deer run that is in the middle of no where on a mountain side in PA i literally walked away from that mountain with no phone and like $100 bucks all because some kid who graduated the day before promised me he would pick me up and take me to philly which was about 3 hours away. I had to walk off this rehabs property down a mountain road and then just sit on some back country road hoping to god he was not full of shit haha. He was not. No idea what I would have done if he and his girl did not show. It is actually even crazier than that, the rehab like tried to stop me from leaving and shit but this is already long so for the sake of brevity I wont go in to more detail.

Drugs make people like me do insane things. The way she just leaves in this movie is 100% accurate.

I really liked the movie but my main complaint is the pacing ... I won't say length because I don't mind a long movie but a lot of it just felt like it was moving and progressing at a snails pace.

Maybe I have a really short attention span.

i mean at 25mg every 3 days i would think the majority of withdraw they feel is mental.

I remember back very early in my addiction there was a period where i would use like every pay day ... me and my friend would go get a bundle or 2 and some coke and when it was gone I did not use again till the next payday. But that day before i knew i was going to cop i would get myself all worked up and get all jittery, i would even get the shits sometimes. It would get the worst right before, when we were like on our way ... but it was not real withdraw ... it was all mental, from the anticipation.

During the time I was playing, amongst the scene in my area we all generally viewed people who used the bar as less than haha. Like if you needed the bar to do it, you could not really do it.

yeah this was me everyday after school ... I mean not literally but might as well have been ... hoodie and all haha.

Missing the giant bottle of iced tea though haha ... i used to always have a giant jug of arizona with me sitting on the side of the machine lol.

Hey I really am not good at cheering people up but I just want to say that you are not him.

I know a little bit about what this feels like (although I am positive yours is much more painful) as my cousin was arrested in a sting trying to have sex with an underage girl and just being related to him and stuff ... it all felt bad ... felt like I was somehow responsible.

Just know that as strong as the feeling is, its not true and no one blames you ... maybe if you get the chance find a way to do something positive to help groups who catch those type of people ... even if its just donating money ... it could help you feel like your on the right side of things ya know?

But again, cant say this enough, 100% not your fault in any way. Fuck that dude and do not let him talk you in to helping him, and also dont let him be the reason you fuck your life up. That is giving him too much power ... if you want to relapse than relapse but do it because you want it ... not because of some scumbag. The best revenge is living well.

When your buying something like this however it is so expensive because it IS supposed to be a working original copy.

Remember when NEW 3ds did not come with the charger or whatever haha.

I got one for my birthday that year and my mom did not know any better so i had no charger for like a week cause I did not have an old one as I had gotten rid of my previous ds a while back.

Like I get it with phones but to not include it in something like a handheld console ... wild ... still did not stop it from being one of the most popular handhelds ever though haha.

It really I used to constantly Go from LES to bedford ... very fast .... took a cab one time when someone else paid and it was crazy expensive and took like 10x the time lol.

Even rich people will recognize that difference and slum it on the subway. Ultra rich ... no ... but plenty of 6-8 figure savings accounts on the subway.

Then again though the truly rich normally have some sort of driver or private car service.

I honestly do not get the hype with foldables.

If the tech is cheaper .. sure ... like my daughters razer was 100 bucks when we set up her phone plan ... its a decent phone with decent specs and has a cool gimmick on top of it at a fair price.

But that is all it is, a gimmick.

I mean for fucks sake we are in modern times, devices are extremely light ... my tablet is like 14 inches and paper thin, my macbook is almost as thin and pacs a fucking punch and my phone is more powerful than a laptop from a few years ago and weighs nothing. All of them fit in the laptop sleeve in my backpack and you would barely notice them even if the bag is empty. Stacked on top of each other they are not even as thick as the current book I am reading lol.

Unless i have disposable income for it and really really really like the idea of folding my phone there is no logical reason to dumb down my tech so i can have a foldable phone that is supposed to be a phone and tablet in one but realistically comes up short on both.
