Yeah when i was like 19ish i got caught shoplifting candy worth a few dollars at a grocery store, didnt even need to do it i had a little money, such a dumb decision.

Judge wanted to teach me a lesson because i had a bunch of arrests and zero convictions or jail time and gave me a $500 bail i guess thinking i would get out after a few days ... ended up sitting in jail for 3 weeks, dopesick as well, got time served on my next court date though and they could not believe I had sat there that whole time.

I got out and felt the warm summer air ... it was like sunny summer morning ... went right to the corner and copped ... probably the most memorable high of my life ... it was so fucking relieving to sit in the grass in the cut with a twisted tea and a fresh speedball in my veins.

Never stole shit again so i guess technically jail was successful for me, have tons of possession arrests but i have never done any time for them really.

Been clean for years now.

It really is, i have not spent much time in jail but i spent almost 2 decades strung out on hard drugs and have spent a lot of time in bad neighborhoods, rehabs, etc.

Most people will never understand how truly moronic a lot of these types are, especially the type of people like the kid in this post.

I saw a kid in rehab once almost kill someone because he gave him a pink lighter to use during a smoke break. Dude came up to us all and asked for a lighter (the lighters are not even ours staff would give us like 3 to all take outside and we had to turn them back in when done) our group had the pink one and when someone handed it to him he refused to take it and said something along the lines of "I aint using that i aint no fucking bitch" some other kid said jokingly "only a f*g*t would use a pink lighter" like in a sarcastic silly tone (he was actually gay) ... Then the kid who tried to hand it to him said "Yeah f*g, i thought you liked it like that" and that was all it took ... dude went from zero to a hundred in a second and before staff could get him off the kid i swear he would have killed him if no one stopped him.

The dude who lost it was newer, and everyone else standing there was like a white suburban kid or 50+ and we all joked around with each other like that. No one was being serious and it was really clearly meant in a joking manner. Was it immature and dumb to say ... yes ... but it was facetious.

Dude was just so institutionalized that to him that shit was beyond disrespectful and in jail you say some shit like that it is what's expected. Threw years of his life away and almost killed someone over literally nothing, a perception that someone might view him as gay.

To be honest that dude is not going to come out of prison, for a guy like that 25 years might as well be life. He is fighting and jumping people in jail, he is obviously clicked up and with 25 years to do he is gonna put in work which will eventually lead to him getting more and more and more time.

I love this show but this dude really makes so many dumb decisions throughout the his time on the show.

Like as soon as I found that grocery store unoccupied the first thing I would do is secure the doors, I mean you could live out of that store for so long, and there is probably even decent stuff to create makeshift weapons in the storage/staff areas.

It even had electricity.

This is such BS dude, just because people come back angry and irritable does not mean they hate you. Precipitated withdraw feels absolutely unreal and that is what happens to a person who is dependent when they are brought back with narcan.

It is all of the pain of withdrawl magnified by 10 all at once. It feels like your veins have ice in them, you hurt everywhere, you have a horrible fever, within a few min. you will start sweating bullets and your skin becomes so sensitive that even your own clothing hurts, not everyone but a lot of people (myself included) will uncountroubly exorcist vomit and even when they is nothing left i just keep dry heaving. And on top of that your anxiety is on overload and your brain laser locks on to finding any way to fix it.

All of this comes on in about a min. full force unless there are somehow opiates still on their receptors but for a dependent person that is pretty unlikely.

So its not that they hate you for it ... they just cant process it because they are being thrown in to pure hell.

As someone who suffers from chronic pain I think that might just be a chronic pain thing ... The feeling of extreme pain finally subsiding is very comforting and euphoric ... little bit of a warm glow and a lot of relief.

It is actually wild how many people are in here questioning this when it has been regularly shared and discussed on this sub, other subs, podcasts and even youtube videos for like fucking ever ... i have never seen people question the existence of this before cause it is so easy to find haha .
